Mine too. Hates guns but is resigned to living with them. She has zero interest in even getting comfortable.
If you want a GREAT range gun for practice etc - the Sig P322 can’t be beat.
I know very little about these things, but aren’t there controls to stop this?

Strictly short-range weapon, although I seem to remember some shake-flingers getting quite good arcs to maximise range and splash damage. The last one on Farage was amateur 6-feet-easy-mode though.
It also has the advantage that a near-miss just makes the target look slightly silly, rather than handing them an instant election-winning Triumph of the Will photo-op.
