That a practical shirt.
This has inspired me to research Argentina - no idea what they did…
Could we talk flashlights for a minute? I’ve been asked for some Christmas and birthday gift ideas and it’s time for me to revisit the idea of getting a better flashlight than the Dorcys I currently use. I like the idea of an EDC flashlight that also has a home in my bugout back and when I go camping. I know the Skilhunt H04 has been recommended here before. Is that still the case? Are there other brands to consider? Is Fenix good? And it seems the current trend is rechargeable over battery but I’m skeptical. I’ve got a Barebones rechargeable lantern that is great…until the power goes out far, far faster than with batteries.
I still like Skilhunt and I think they’re great VFM, but then again I got my first on sale for about £20 which definitely coloured my view of them, because it was unbeatable at that price. If you want to use 14500s for convenience reasons, that’s perfectly reasonable, but you also might want to avoid them because of the possible confusion with AA. Or you might want a torch that can take both AA and 14500, like the https://www.sofirnlight.com/products/sofirn-sp10pro-aa-flashlight-anduril-2-attiny1616-version
My Wurkkos HD20 was super cheap, even with a 21700 battery, and it offers USB charging and power bank function as well as letting you swap between batteries. Quite handy, noticeably heavier than my 18650s to the extent I think you could use it as a defensive tool. Headlamp, magnetic tailcap.
Speaking of which, my favourite is still the Emisars for all-round weight and ease of use: https://intl-outdoor.com/led-flashlights/emisar-dw4-right-angle-1-18650-work-light.html. A bit more spendy, but lots of options, and there are always plenty of 18650s available to give you all the capacity you would ever want without needing an avalanche of rechargeable AAs or 14500s. Headlamp, magnetic cap, 18350 tube available if you want to use 18350s instead.
I don’t like pure recharge over battery either. Fenix were underwhelming when I last tried them about 15 years ago.
Thanks for the info! I’ve got a lot to research😃
Alright; yall have to help me… how do you not spend money in the US?

The theory on which much of our government has been (or pretends to have been) sold is that low social spending and limited regulation of business will result in everyone having lots of money, and the constant grind for your cash is actually a sign of our entrepreneurial spirit.
As far as strategies: avoid advertising, avoid comparisons with others, cultivate a love of nature, and be aware that much of what people buy unnecessarily results from susceptibility to the message that identity and values are to be established via consumer behavior.
Talking to people at work “I didn’t think he would actually do what he said when I voted for him…”
Errr…. Buyers remorse? You can’t cancel this pre-order, the pledge manager is closed…
https://www.reddit.com/r/LeopardsAteMyFace/ has been one of my favorite subreddits for a very long time.
And my first comment to my wife after Trump won was “The Leopards will be eating well for the next 4 years.”
No-one is talking about the impending Leopard Obesity epidemic.
How… how have I never seen this?
