Not weird at all. That was me for quite a while because I would play while my wife was working doing transcription (our TV is in the living room and that’s where the computer is too).
But now I’m working from home due to COVID and I’m playing Red Dead Redemption 2 on my lunch breaks, and wow the music in that game is wonderful.
Question for you all about Borderlands. I was thinking of picking up Borderlands 3 on the PC on Steam, but I am really bad at shooters. Been playing Overwatch for years and still only in Bronze, but I have fun and mostly play Mystery Heroes. Would I be able to play Borderlands if just not that good at shooters?
I am bad at competitive shooting (also hate em with a passion) but PVE Shooting is ok.
The good thing about the Borderlands franchise is that gear supplements/enhances skill.
So if you are bad at aiming? Use a Shotgun with a wiiiide spread…or a Rocketlauncher…which shoots cheeseburger for some reason…or like I do…use an Assault rifle which works like a Shotgun with pellets.
The “Bazillion of guns” in their trailers are maybe a bit overmarketing but there are SO many possibilities to customize your character that PRECISION isn’t an issue…at all!
So being quick on your feet and precise with shooting may be an asset, but in no way a requirement one.
Not on Switch–I have it on PC. I like it; just haven’t played that much as I’m tired of PC gaming at the moment.
The mechanics are solid–FTL-inspired maps, Hearthstone-ish combat, deckbuilding similar to all our favorites (Nowhere Prophet was in development before Slay the Spire, so that wasn’t an influence). The dual decks shake things up a bit, and the setting and writing are unique and interesting.
I will try it again, but the convenience of my phone and iPad keep winning out these days.
