I was hoping the other new Prince of Persia game would make it to mobile, the one made by the Dead Cells developers. But this one looks pretty fun and has controller support.

I haven’t played it on iOS, but I love it on my switch.

It looks like Digidiced just released Caverna on iOS. I didn’t know that was in the works.

Was on the beta test, and would say it’s quite solid. Very typical of Digidiced standard of build, meaning nothing so flash, but I think serves the game very well.

As for the game itself it’s similar to Agricola but offers differences in a more static but open board selection. It’s a great game IMO. No expansions at the moment but they’ve indicated they will be looking at expansions in 2026 (not just this game but others as well).
There is a weekly challenge mode which changes the card/tileset.

Hmm… might have to download!

Be careful not to buy the Kairosoft Caverns game instead

But Kairosoft games can be fun😁

They are… embarrassingly so…the amount of time I put into Boxing Gym Story or Jumbo Airport Story on my Switch is ridiculous. That being said, ā€œCavern Adventuresā€ from Kairosoft is one of their weaker titles, in my opinion.

There is a new Meteorfall game up for preorder on the App Store. I like the first one better than the second, but both are solid games. Looking forward to the third.

Love their games but actually Krumit’s Tale for me due to the increased mechanics and depth. Just bought and looking forward to it. Steam reviews are looking good.

Krumit’s Tale was a little too hard for me, and I didn’t feel as much synergy between some of the cards as I did in the first. I enjoyed it, but I got frustrated with it a couple times, too, and shelved it more than once.

Thronefall is out on iOS:

I know a number of us played and enjoyed it on Steam and felt it would fit well on phones and tablets. It’s free to try with a full game unlock.

I know the maps are all hand drawn but does it randomize spawn points?

I don’t think so—pretty sure the enemies always attack in the same patterns for a given level.

By the way, there’s a bug with the unlock pricing. If you click ā€œBuy Gameā€ in the menu, it’s listed at full price. If you go to the map and try to play one of the areas that aren’t unlocked right away, you can purchase the unlock for 25% off.

The base game of Warhammer Gladius, Relics of War is 100% off on Steam right now. If you don’t have it, it is solid. Of course the expansions are $100 bucks for them all (lololol). But, the base game is worth messing around with for free.

I might be a fan of ARPGs. My all time favorite was Marvel Heroes, which went offline 7 years ago when Gazillion ended the license agreement with Marvel. No, it is possible I had more time than that in Everquest and WoW (actually not possible, highly probable) on Steam nothing has come close to the 4635 hours I have in Marvel Heroes. I was quite upset when it went offline.

And now it is back. There is a group that are reverse engineering it and I have been playing it this morning, and yay! https://www.reddit.com/r/ProjectTahiti/

Wow! That’s pretty cool.

Marvel Heroes was everything I want on paper, but felt a little too live-servicy for me. A few too many currencies for a few too many boosts and cosmetics. This could possibly because I played all the X-Men Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance games prior to Heroes and those were a little more ā€œpremium,ā€ if that makes sense.

I’ve always felt that the ARPG genre lends itself really well to many IP-based clones. A Star Wars one would be awesome (they tried their own live service version, which was pulled), LotR, you name it. I think ARPG works for a ton of stuff, but I’d personally prefer a premium game like Diablo rather than something like Heroes.

That said, if it showed up again on PS5 - or even on mobile - I’d put some more time into it.

I wonder if there is a way to get your total hours played from WoW…. Easily the game I have played the most over the years. I might have to get my steam list and share as well

I think in the 4 years I played Everquest, I went and checked my total played time on all characters and I think it was just about 1 year, so about 8k hours. I am fairly certain my WoW play time is double that. I would have to sub again and /played all of my toons in WoW to get them. It is possible I will try a sub again some day. But it has been a couple years now.

WoW is still addicting. If it weren’t for FFXIV I’d still be playing WoW regularly.

Guys, I need ā€˜help’

I guess many of yours played Stellaris and 4X games.
I happen to play these kind of games every 10 years or so, and now I have that itch but I’m a bit at a loss.

I tried several times to play Stellaris but it’s too much for me despite me loving the exploration and the general mood of the game.
I need something simpler, preferably sci-fi with focus on exploration and maybe fights more than micromanagement and millions of resources to manage and buildings.

Basically I’m looking for something like Starbase Orion (which is still awesome on iOS imho) but with fancier graphics and more of a story/events.

I recently liked a lot Townfolks and Polytopia, but I need something sci-fi.
Preferably on iOS (but PC or Series X is ok too), preferably turn based.
It’s been a week since I’m looking for something but I didn’t find anything suitable so far….so I’m coming to you experts.

Any suggestions?
(I have and like Civ6 on iOS but I wanted something sci-fi).
