Yeah, probably. And Fox in the Forest might be too small a game for it, Yet Codenames works for a tiny game with quick turns, so once again, CGE shows that what other developers think can’t be done can, in fact, be done. I’m grumpiest about Wings of Glory, though. I’d play that to the end of time if not had asynchronous.
I second that about Wings of Glory. Great game, but really needs a seamless asynchronous option.
What in the world!? I just went into Everdell for the first time in a while and they changed it so that it does the same thing Clank! does with a border on 3/4 of the screen. It used to fill the whole screen. Who is making these aesthetically unpleasant decisions and why can’t they just fill the screen like they’ve done in the past?
Saw your comment and so took a look myself (hadn’t played in a while and it told me I needed to update the app to proceed).
Yeh what on earth!?
As a tip, if playing on iOS, I sometimes use the iOS zoom function (found in accessibility > settings), to zoom the screen up and pretend it’s full screen. It lowers the resolution a bit but at least you can fill the whole screen this way.
Hot off the Press:
Today at the Costco, when my wife, daughter and I all played the “guess how much this is all going to cost” before they rang us up…I called it TO THE DOLLAR!!! I was off by $.77
Be amazed!
Sounds like medal worthy Dad call.
Something else is goofy - I can’t figure out how to prepare for the next season anymore. I don’t want to play the cards in my hand yet but there doesn’t seem to be a way for me to move on. Why the regression in design? Frustrating.
Very interesting. I’ve been wanting to check this one out at the table. What’s with all the IAP, though? It looks like there are card packs and currencies and stuff. I’ve got no problem paying to unlock a game but this isn’t a collectible game yet the monetizations sure makes it seem like one.
I was bored in the tutorial, saw nothing really new, and deleted it fairly quickly.
Actually not sure. I just saw it yesterday before going to sleep and downloaded it. I own the physical game and enjoy it quite a bit. Once I know more, I’ll let you know.
Hey Gang,
I just went all in on Mindbug, buying all 3 expansions, but it isn’t yet clear how I access them…or did I just pre-purchase upcoming expansions?
I did the same and am also not sure about anything. I clicked on ‘duel’ and got sucked into an online match with a random stranger, which worked fine.
My User is ABL#664 btw. You can add me and we can try a if it has asynchronous mode.
When you check your profile picture in the top left corner of the main screen, you come to a page with your card collection. There you can see all the packs you (we) have bought and the upcoming ones.
Oh crap! Are the Pink and Green reward paths just for cosmetic crap?
The Marauder expansion is available in Root. Eulalia!
That snuck in under the radar on IOS. 1 week ago update details “New content” - nothing more. sack that marketing department?
@Mirefox I am sorry to say that I have not found any time to play around with the app until now. Quite involved in real life these days and years… Can’t say it’s a bad thing, but I am buying and downloading apps en masse without ever finding enough time to learn and play them.
I feel your pain.
