Sweet. Invites out. Have mercy, I’ve never played.
I’m in if you guys want another.
I have also never played, but I assume big numbers good, car go fast
JFC Board Game Arena is down for me. Didn’t want to play anyway.
There’s been all sorts of sporadic outages of sites and services here in the UK / Europe all day. I think a lot of the major networks are removing a lot of Huawei hardware this weekend and it’s causing a bit of chaos.
I had no internet or cell phone service for a few hours today and it was alternatively blissful and hell, but yeah BGA is still down for me too.
Wait, an Asmodee is not working?
I have also never played, but I assume big numbers good
Don’t exceed the corner values on your turn as you cross the corner line or you will spin out. Otherwise, play high numbers, hold numbers that will be useful for future turns, cycle cards that won’t be useful for a while, try to out-gues the other players in order to slipstream them.
I hope the player timer is per turn because otherwise @js619 is down to 8 hours for the rest of the whole game.
Yes, per turn. One turn per day. Also no consequences for timing out, unless you kick me lol
You can exceed the corner numbers as long as you have enough Heat to burn. You don’t automatically spin out.
I’d play Heat. Or anything else. I’ve never used BGA so it would be a trial run for me and I’d need a head’s up that an invite was out because it currently isn’t a habit to check in regularly.
We’ll get you in the next Heat game. I also regularly play Tash-Kalar, Innovation, and Memoir ‘44 on there if any of those interest you, but if you name it I’ll see if it’s there
I’m definitely into Memoir 44
Invite out. Be forewarned, I’m barely fair at this one but I do love it.
Also I rarely read the rules for the different scenarios. Damn the torpedoes and all.
LOL me too. So we’re even!
The 9 billionth Steam Next Fest of the year is here, and I actually tried a couple of demos this time. Solium Infernum looks very cool and is absolutely not something I want to play on my Steam Deck. Cobalt Core, on the other hand, plays great on the Deck. FTL-ish space exploration (although more linear), rogue-like deck-building … breezed thru one demo run in about a half hour and will definitely buy on release. RPS has a good write up with a little more detail:
Anyone else see any interesting demos so far?
