I have it too, played the tutorials. Anyone for a test game?
Sure! JS619+8568
Created a game - guess which one it is - password woof!
Off we go, into the wild blue yonder!
Please guys, report everything you can!
I’m so on the verge buying it but I don’t want to regret like past 10 games or so.
Interesting Humble Bundle I just saw: Deck Builder Bundle
Featuring
Not sure why GWENT is there, it is FTP, but I guess that is some value within the game. And that Rounds game looks out of place. But I think for $15, I have Library of Runia, One Step From Eden and Vault of the Void on my wishlist, so looks like a bargain. I am picking this up.
After seeing yet another whine on BGG about apps in boardgames, I decided to vent a little bit.
My biggest issue with apps in games is that I try quite hard to pull my kids away from electronics and I sometimes wonder if games like Journeys in Middle Earth are counterproductive to that point.
And this is not a knock against apps in games, but they do serve to highlight how Impressive certain games can be from a design perspective when they can give a solo or co-op experience without being run by electronics.
I find it amusing that the person who made the post that triggered this is active on the Twilight Struggle and Labyrinth digital versions.
Ha! I didn’t know that.
Though to be fair, he’s mainly complaining about the use of apps in actual board games. Not board game apps.
But it is amusing nonetheless.
While not exactly related, I am quite excited about the Everdell App coming out soon. On the forum on Steam there are already complaints about changing the Husband/Wife cards to Harvester and Gatherer. A few people have made it very clear that this RUINS THE GAME FOR THEM!!
lol
You think they’d be more concerned about woodland animals marrying. If Adam and Steve is a big no no, then squirrels and bunnies is right out.
I read it for kicks and the hyperbole is astounding.
Goddamn you, you owe me coffee lol
Oo I loved that one but it didn’t get the play time it deserved on the iPad. It’ll definitely get more play on my phone, as do most single player things
I’d like to see Obra Dinn ported over to iOS/iPad. Heard nothing but good things about it.
Has anyone played the Nuroshima Convoy app? It is currently on sale. Portal isn’t sitting high in my estimation but if it works, $2 isn’t the worst price to get a taste of the game.
And the bit that concerned me answered.
