This game is BS! There is no way you can kill all of the baddies with the pathetic weapons your mechs start with. Did they do any sort of QA on this piece of shoot game?
How do these Netflix games work? You just download them sign in with your Netflix login?
Oh yes. There it is. Well, sleep just got delayed.
@Mirefox - actually, Iām not quite sure how it worked. I downloaded ITB from the App Store, opened it and it just worked, but my Netflix icon appears in the top corner of the splash screen. Didnāt need to enter any login details. It might be because I have logged into to Netflix from this iPad so the device is registered with Netflix. Cool, if slightly creepy in that stalked-by-tech way.
Same here. I think if youāre already auto-logged into Netflix, ItB will just start up and automatically log you in.
Yeah if youāve got Netflix on your device itāll autolog you in. Otherwise you get a sign in prompt when you fire it up.
It goes without saying that Into the Breach and the iPhone are a match made in heaven. Donāt sit on it.
Incredible the devs didnāt even think to port it until Netflix asked them to do so.
But but butā¦I donāt have time for iPad games, my Steam Deck arrived yesterday! (first world problems)
Well, fortunately for you the advanced version is also live on steam and it looks like itās steamdeck compatible.
yup, I have it on Steam already. I am just curious to see how it plays on the ipad
Do we know that they didnāt think about porting it, or did they just believe it didnāt make financial sense for them to do so? I think lots of devs stay away from developing premium mobile games for that reason.
I wonder myself. While I wish they did it ages ago, of course, if the only way to make the mobile version some sort of freemium cheese with multiple currencies and timers, I appreciate them holding off until now.
1 for ItB, interferes with my Dawncaster play time
FTL was ported to mobile. I wonder what took them so long to bring into the breach over. Funding maybe? Theyāre only a small team. If Netflix funded the port, and we got a content update too, sounds like a win win
According to a recent interview (canāt find the link now, sorry) they clearly stated they never had the intention to port the game on mobile (they didnāt specify why, probably after FTL they didnāt see it viable) until Netflix approached them and asked them to do so (for money, of course), so they signed the deal and did it.
Itās probably a statement on how the mobile games market is now.
Anyway the game is awesome and immobile is the perfect fit imho (much better than on PC or Switch).
This is the interview I mentioned.
For the ones interested As Dusk Fall, the recent really well reviewed game out since yesterday on XBOX and PC, is available via xCloud with FULL TOUCH CONTROLS (itās the very first game to do so, no overlaid controls).
Played a bit and it really feels native, so if you have Gamepass or want to try it for 1$, itās a good game to use.
There is one bugā¦game is in English (if I play from my console it is fully localized) but I have yet to tinker in settings.
Works really well tough.
Wings of Glory is out on iOS now and just based on the menus it seems to have asynchronous multiplayer for more than 2 players, but I still need to test that out.
Looks like you can do 3v3, at least in dogfight mode
Any insight about Wings of Glory on iPhone? (My iPad is no longer supported).
How is the game?
Just tried it. Good, if a bit small, but certainly not unplayable
