Already funded, but if you want in when the beta starts next month, this is your ticket.

Any idea if this supports more than 2 players like the physical version?

The multiplayer open game doesnā€™t have a custom name, itā€™s the one labeled ā€œbrassā€

Crap! I didnā€™t realize you could edit the name. Even when you highlight the name, it doesnā€™t look like itā€™s something you can edit.

I can do a new one if it would make it easier for everybody else. Glad you found it!

Iā€™ve not funded a Kickstarter before. It looks like if I do, Iā€™ll get access to an iPhone app (when it comes out). Is that the way it works? I have an old Mac so will not be playing on Steam.
Any ideas about how long it will take the app to come out?

I got Hero Realms when it first came out so Iā€™m excited about this online version. Especially if I can lock in all the future expansions.

Iā€™m not a rabid Star Realms player like a number of you, I havenā€™t given Cthulhu realms more than 4 minutes, and I have kind of bounced off Epic because I find it way too swingy to the point I get really frustrated. That said, it is clear White Wizard can develop a quality app and will embrace the multiplayer community, so Hero Realms is a no-brainer for me.

correction, they are Wise Wizard Games now.

I play 20 games of Star Realms at a time, and actually went to PAX Unplugged 2 years ago just to play in an SR tournament. So yeah, this was a no-brainer for me.

As soon as the Kickstarter ends theyā€™ll release the beta, which youā€™ll have access to through Testflight. They did the same thing with Epic which went very smoothly.

Yup, IIRC they did the same with the initial Star Realms Digital release too, I backed that.

Speaking of, I REALLY love the addition of the Command Decks to SR, really changes up the gameplay for me and has sucked me back in.

I suck so bad at Command Decks. I have like a 60% normal win-rate and with command decks about 30%. Send me some challenges with command decks!

What are the command decks? Are they like the Hero Realms heroes? Those basically change your starting deck to something character-specific.

Yup, pretty much the same gist. I think they also shuffle some multifaction specific cards into the main deck based on their faction combo that any player can purchase.

+The campaign missions for them was probably my fav of all the challenges. Need to complete all of the normal difficulty achievements to unlock the 7th Lost Faction as well.

Challenge sent.

Wise Wizard calls out that theyā€™re not particularly balanced when using events, gambits, or heroes so Iā€™ve been leaving those switched off.

If anyone else wants a challenge  this post. (If your username is different than your name here, shoot it to me in a DM as Iā€™ve lost my old friends list on SR)

Brass Birmingham plays fine with 3. Weā€™d just need one more player on steam

Who developed Birmingham, and do you know if it is going to come to mobile?

Phalanx Games developed it and I donā€™t know if it will ever come to mobile or not.

Anybody know how to get a different command deck in an asynchronous game where you are doing a rematch?

Or are you doomed to playing the same one if you constantly rematch rather than setting up a new game?

That Iā€™m not sure on that. I just know if you go to New Game in the online game menu and look for a little ? box in the lower left you can click that to select which Command Deck you want to pick, but Iā€™m not sure if thatā€™s like a preference setting or if itā€™s just for whatever game youā€™re about to start.

(actually mine might just be a ? because I leave it on random.)

Axis & Allies 1942 Online is coming to iPads this summer and Android tablets shortly after. It has been out on Steam for a bit.

I know it isnā€™t the best game ever but I have some nostalgia for it.

Has anyone played it on Steam and does anyone know if the online is aynch.
