Brilliant Snotty. That site was great. Gave free packs from a variety of sets.
Note: the ones that say they expire in July 2020, seem to have actually worked for me.

For what it is worth, my opinion of Magic Arena is much improved on my phone. Some of the rough edges visible on my iPad are a little more subtle.

Sony in a move of monumental stupidity is closing down its PS3 and Vita Stores (2 July PS3, Aug 27 PSVITA) on the consoles. Since the online / web store already closed down in Oct 2020 you can no longer get ANY stuff via their storefronts.

Downloads of already purchased stuff will still be available afterwards (how long, only stupid Sony knows)

I really hope for a final sale blowout but I won’t hold my breath for that. Still need some good old PS2/PS1 (PS3) classics…and now to track down US PS funds since the EU store has as usual only about 1/3rd of the US offerings, licencing deals be dammed…

I am still in the “buy physical” camp and this move further reinforced my decision.

The Game of Thrones board game is out on iOS. The App Store game description does say you can play asynchronously.

I’m interested in the GoT game, but I’m holding off until I see some impressions from others … don’t trust the quality of the multiplayer since it’s an Asmodee title …

I was in the Beta for this, and the asynch started off…painfully, shall we say. It got better, but at no point did I feel like, “Oh this is really solid.” But I also didn’t stick for the very last phase of Beta, mostly because I felt like the game was kind of needlessly hard vs. the AI, which is the main way I played it. So perhaps they got it just right, or maybe they left it as it was, which is not going to thrill anyone here.

My comment is not very helpful…sorry!

Disgaea RPG (“the most evil RPG”) expected on 13th of April.

“Hello! I’m a Prinny, dood!” >Prinny Barrage<

it’s free to play, so i wouldn’t expect too much.
let’s just hope it won’t be total selfdestruction.

Meh. We will see, of course, but I expect it to be pretty much exactly like every other character collecting f2p RPG that skins itself in an IP like Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Fire Emblem, etc. I think I am finally complete over the genre, no matter how appealing the IP is.

Square soft/enix games are worth the price of admission.

FFVIII just came out on iOS a week or two ago.

I know it is really early, but the game is sitting at a rating of 2/5 on the App Store. Not a promising start.

It’s interesting that Star Trek: Legends dropped on Apple Arcade, and it’s free of all the normal gacha IAP but is a full gacha game.

I have no idea how it’s actually doing.

Did anyone notice that rather than fix their bugs Asmodee removed Splendor from the mobile stores?

Yeah, they gave everybody a Steam code for Splendor to compensate

Wow–I had not noticed this. Splendor has been a mobile app for years. I play it periodically and enjoy it.

I wonder if this is a move on their part to relaunch the game as part of apple arcade?

Maybe, but if so they’re publicly lying.

Here’s their answer to the question of Android and iOS support: https://asmodee.helpshift.com/a/splendor/?s=specific-questions&f=end-of-google-play-and-itunes-support&l=en

Basically outdated code that would probably be too expensive to rework.

Or something like that.

Has anyone else noticed “age of rivals: conquest” on the App Store? It’s certainly based off of the age of rivals game we all enjoyed so much a few years back.

I’ve done literally no research, so I dont know if it’s a rip off or if Mattel has acquired the rights legitimately.

I’m not seeing it on the US App Store. I saw some info on a Russian site, though, and it sure looks similar…
