i have upgraded to full game IAP to honor that they have fulfilled the async promise at last.
got no invitation. will look into the game right now.

I forget who I was talking to this about, it still no sound notifications from Dire Wolf, this time for Root. Not sure how they are still unaware of this. Otherwise, the game looks great.
I accepted the invite and I also get a completely empty table like the one you posted.
Accepted the game you sent and mine freezes on that screen as well.
It also seems that the game I created completely skipped adding @JammaTal. Heâs listed on the menu, but not present at the table. The game seems to be running smoothly outside that one major mistakeâŚ
Edit: Maybe I spoke too soon? They game came back to me to start round 2 - was there supposed to be a feeding phase? Did the game automate it? There was no replay.
The game did automate feeding after I did my trait (though it said it was @js619âs turn while I did that).
Shame that thereâs no replay
Man I feel sorry seeing you guys, some of the most dedicated iOS strat game players (being on this forum), having to bungle through all of the bugs and just outright poor multiplayer handling on all these new and newish apps. I mean Iâm not sure weâve even seen just one app this year just come in and nail it like ascension back in the day or through the ages.

Hopefully Root? Dire Wolf tends to be on top of their game, and if there are issues they address them.
Consider that most of the new releases have come from Asmodee, so we know what to expect at this point. The Evolution asynchronous has been tested since Dec, so itâs clear they just canât do it.
Edit: Was Sagrada this year? Dire Wolf again.
And credit where credit is due, Digidiced have never been as elegant as the top tier multiplayer developers, but Viticulture works well it seems.

i created a new test game with two willing guinea pigs and this time the game loaded instantly when i tapped on âsendâ and let me make my food contribution.
status in the async menu now is âothers playing foodâ.
There is a turn log in the chat menu, which is woeful for explaining what happened. Looking forward to late game when the game state changes dramatically every round and there are minimal indications as to why.

Sagrada was this year, yes.
Dire Wolf is hitting it out of the park, with basically only two minor things (one that doesnât affect me at all): the lack of sound notification and the weird â+####â added to usernames (which Iâm used to now).
Otherwise, they are awesome. You get replays of the rounds, you see the final results, itâs great!
Digidiced always has solid, but clunky, multiplayer. I do like how in Viticulture and Castles of Burgundy, you can choose whether or not you want to see replays (and itâs a shame that the animations on Castles are so slow that I do turn them off).
Edit: Oh, one more thing about Dire Wolf. I donât understand why some games (Root) wonât let you just set up a game with friends (you have to set up a generic online game and use a password) and some games (Raiders of the North Sea) will.
Whatâs up with that?

Count me in for âbeginner friendly table.â Iâm only slightly better off than Mirefox, having watched about half of a âhow to playâ video to make sure I wanted to buy this game.
