The million dollar question is - does play and go really mean only present during movement, or do they actually mean also all present during set up?
I just noticed after updating to ios14 that you can add game center friends again deep in the settings menu. This is helpful for older games like Carcassonne.
You can also see all your GC achievements again, if you care.

and you can see what your friends are playing, if they have activated the āshare activity with friendsā option.
and new leaderboard competition events for solo games.

how much fun this can be we experienced in Sky Force Reloaded (best arcade shmup imho) and Hill Climb 2 when fierce highscore battles ensued.

Not sure! Trying to get a game going to test it. My suspicion would be more like TfM, but hoping to be pleasantly surprised. Iāll probably give it until the weekend and then try a game with strangers. Will report.

On a positive note, the game does have an āadd buddyā option, which is already a step beyond TfM.

Great! The good news is that I was able to add you in-game, so no need to mess around with the website nonsense.
Iāll start a game up by tomorrow, allowing a little more time to see if anyone else wants to join.
It seems that Scythe uses Asmodeeās āawesomeā āfeatureā where you can only invite online players, so I was. It able to start a private game. How do we figure this out?
Edit: This stupidity gets my blood boiling. Glitches, bad AI, general coding issues I get, but continuing to implement a completely ridiculous and nonsensical player invite system in spite of other developers perfecting it nearly a decade ago is either gross incompetence or some sort of arrogance that they can do it better their own wayā¦
