Yeh I’m rooting for this!
Neuroshima Convoy is out on iOS.
Also, has Neuroshima Hex been removed from the App Store?
i have tried the MP (again) yesterday.
when creating a game both possible options (email- and GC friendslist invites) are dead ends.
there were 3 games “waiting” for players to join, but just a fake or old relics.
couldn’t join any of them.
it’s a cemetery.
Yes, NH is gooooooone
Company of Heroes is playable on phones now.
If I had heard myself say that 10 years ago I would have slapped myself in the face and told myself to sober up…
I’m guessing it would be stupidly optimistic of me to think that maybe NH was removed to make room for the New Improved NH to debut on the App Store in a week or so?
My cynical side thinks it was removed because not only does Portal no longer care, but they’re sick of even doing the minimal support it requires (or answering emails, etc.).
I’ve had both thoughts myself. I’m sure it is the latter, but there is always the chance we see a new app, as slim as that chance may be.
If they need to port a Relic game it should be Homeworld!
…
…
.
or Dawn of War 1 at least…
Either would be awesome. Homeworld, in particular, could actually be even better with touch controls for navigating the 3D space.
I THINK I actually remember I saw a recent video or something where Portal itself said they are doing a new version Neuroshima Hex.
Can’t find the link now.
The announcement of a new NH app is in here, announcement at about 30:10.
He’s says “app” so hopefully that means for mobile.
Thanks, that’s the one.
I was a bit dubious to have just imagined it…would love as well a slick Neuroshima Hex (or something working anyway).
I’ve been looking for a quick to play, fun card game with progression. Fount it in:
And it is free!?! No ads!
Buy the developer a beer.
Quick to play, quests to complete, cards to unlock. It is not brutally hard (so far).
If you like this one, the developer has another similar premium game that launched this year.
I do like Christophe Coyard’s games–he put out another free one before Mind Cards that wasn’t as good, but it’s cool to watch his work improve. Endless Cards, the premium game (for only $1) is even better, IMO.
The Tinytouchtales influence is obvious, but Coyard’s been very open about that and gotten some positive feedback from Arnold Rauers himself.
There is an app for Mint Works now. Not having played the tabletop game, I’ve always assumed the biggest draw is that it can fit in your pocket. Remove that and is there a game worth playing? I’ve not tried the app, either.
Scythe Digital is out on mobile looks like worldwide but at least for a few more countries since the soft launch a few months ago.
I’d be up for a game of Scythe to test out the asynchronous functionality (which I am pessimistic about, this being Asmodee).
My thoughts exactly. Holding off on the 8.99 for now…
they call it “play & go” now.
“players must be present only during their movement.” ROFL
