This one? With card-driven battles, and you could only establish a few cities. It was good, and yet another victim of the appocalypse.
Yes! Well found.
Iām a big RTS gamer, but I canāt get into Northguard. Not sure whyā¦I guess I donāt know what Iām doing half the time. I own most of the factions, so I should try again.
Man, that was a great little game
Not sure where else this would go, but I still play Marvel Strike Force every day for 3 years now. My alliance has an open spot if anyone else still plays and is looking for a semi-serious/semi-casual alliance.
Still playing Valheim like a lunaticā¦this game is climbing my Steam āoverall play-time chartsā like crazy.
Well under normal circumstances it would only do that for another 7 daysā¦because initially, I planned to disconnect from the world starting 14th of may and play Mass Effect - Legendary Edition until the entropy death of the universe (or at least until I have my 6 playthroughs done for the trilogy for each classā¦currently halfway there with the āoldā games). This series means a lot to me. I try to use video games to distract me from RL when the need arises, and the series helped me through an especially hard time.
Well, that will have to waitā¦since PS5 are still not available for more than 42 nanoseconds in (digital) retail in my country yet.
Well, at least I can spin this as the ultimate gaming-related test of my patience in my lifetime.
On a related note, to get yourself into the mood, you can create your own custom Mass Effect Wallpaper over here, with multiple choices (heh) of background, characters, and moralityā¦a nice gimmick. Since the quality is 4k I try to refrain from spamming a metric ton of them here.
Also, you can get the COMPLETE Mass Effect trilogy Soundtrack here for free for a limited time (including some other bonus stuff like digital art books, etc)
Not that I needed it since I purchased it already back when the OST released, but it is a nice thing to have for free anyways since it is one of the best Science Fiction OST out there.
Bravely Default 2 on the Switchā¦ nearly 70 hours in and am working on 100%'ing the game. My toons are nearly unbeatable, except by the upgraded bosses at the endgame who require a bit more strategy than spamming attacks.
Even if I donāt 100% it Iāve gotten my moneyās worth - highly recommended for fans of RPGs with job systems.
It is certainly on my wish list. I recently finished a ridiculously long play through of Deagon Quest XI, which I found to be a bit plain and tedious, so Iām on my intra-RPG break, but Bravely Default II may be my next deep dive.
You wonāt regret it - even in the end game, the min / maxing of gear and job abilities is a game in and of itself!
Youāre speaking my language!
So, I grabbed this game when you mentioned it, decided to keep it and wait for graduation from early access.
Solid game! A little unclear at times but I am sure that comes with practice. Reminds me a lot of Card Hunter with the builds etc, but without the cartoons and humour.
I like it!
Has anyone tried Card Hog? It is on iOS and is yet another of the card-based dungeon crawls. On the surface it looks like Meterofall: Krumitās Tale, but I havenāt played it. It seems to have good reviews.
I own it on Steam and enjoy it. Itās still in EA on Steam, though, so keep that in mind. On the other hand, itās pretty inexpensive!
I was in the Card Hog beta for a while and found it kind of repetitive. It reminded more of a game like Endless Cards than Krumitās Taleāmore of a high score chaser thatās fun for a while but not terribly deep. Iām sure the dev has improved it since then, though. Itās fun enough to give it a shot.
My darling wife suggested I should play WoW again.
Wtf is wrong with her? Oh well. Installed and subscribedā¦
I really wanted to get to max level, but struggled with this last expansion. I had intended to play this weekend, but then saw that Monster Hunter World was on sale for $20, so habe played that instead of WoW this weekend. lol
Hahahaha, is your wife insane?
Iāve seen some commercials for WoW lately and they make me want to dive back in, too, but it has been quite a long time since I played and I am neck deep in ffxiv. Iāve also had a small jonesing for some Guild Wars lately but it is impossible to juggle multiple mmorpgs.
Strangely, my wife has not once suggested I play oneā¦
I should also go back and finish FF14 at some point, I was just at the beginning of the Shadowbringers storyline when I stopped.
My problem with FF14 was that my favorite class is the Dancer. But seriously? The Warrior of Light is a dancer? While I also enjoyed Samurai, which seemed much more WoLish, I really love the dancer play style. But the whole Dancing WoL just bothered me.
I got my DNC to 80 but I wasnāt a huge fan of the play style. The rotation is really basic and it is a fairly brain dead job. Flashy, yes, but not all that dynamic. Iām working on my first ever tank right now (WAR), which I thought I would hate but am enjoying quite a lot. I didnāt want the responsibility of both tanking and leading dungeons but I find that it is far more engaging than any of the DPS classes Iāve played, who all pretty much just require you to go through your rotations non-stop and avoid enemy attacks.
The new expansion comes out in November so now is a great time to finish Shadowbringers in anticipation.
Another huge shout out to the team at Handleabra. They take some really cool IP and create efficient and effective board game adaptations.
I reckon I have pumped more money their way than any other dev.
Sentinels of the Multiverse is very good, and Spirit Island is just magnificent.
