What are you playing?

Yeah, Ironclad lacks the unique mechanics of the robot and the chick, and has more power/healing than the rogue equivalent, so there’s a case to be made that he is the easiest one to use. Derelict is probably still my favorite, but seems more susceptible to getting the right cards and relics than Ironclad.

I believe Slay the Spire does have one, or at least it has some comparisons with friends.

Though you have to be Steam friends for the Steam version. I haven’t actually looked at the iOS version to see if it has similar comparisons.

Slay the spire does indeed have a leaderboard. Feel free to add me (on game centre, presumably) and I’ll add some names when I get back later

Looks like it’s email/iMessage invites  hit me up at gmail if you like, same name.

I wonder if there’s a work around somehow

Tried twice more with the stance chick and failed. First was the most promising yet, an odd relic combo where I could not heal at fires but could from potions, which I also got after every fight. Roared into the third area without much issue but I tried the event where you can get a rare relic if you beat those two guardians who strengthen every turn. Second time they have ended a run, got to leave them alone.

Second run sucked. No good cards, could not get a deck theme at all. Sputtered out early in the second area.

Funny enough that while this chick took me way more tries to clear the three floors than all the others, when I finally did it I had my first run of clearing the fourth one too and knocking out the heart. The beat of death thing was canceled out by the card that gives three block whenever you attack the target, and since I started with the relic that prevents hand discards I could shift between stances more or less at will. Fun stuff.

Did my first daily run if anyone wants to compare. Got 833, I think.

On the previous daily challenge, I got the grand sum of 150 :joy: I took the relic that reduced card drops by 2. The challenge had a maximum of 2 card drops, so the relic helpfully reduced that to zero new cards per fight. I didn’t last long after that

Ooof, yeah, that is a bad beat. Kudos to Geiger, that is a heck of a score. What is Beyond Perfect?

Beyond Perfect means I defeated all three bosses without taking damage. I was able to stack up a ton of block early in each battle and kept it around thanks to the relic that had me lose only 15 block per turn, not all of it.

This challenge run got very very silly by the end. I had genetic algorithm combined with a relic that made it innate. It was up to something like 75 block by the end of my run. You beat me in score though, looks like racking up the elites did it

Monster Train does!!!

I love me some Monster Train. I don’t think we are Steam friends, is that what we need for leaderboard there?

Always looking for more Steam friends to see what people are playing. I am kennfusion there. I think from here I only have @JMH.75 and @LordGek as friends, and I swear that @LordGek might own every single game on Steam

I’m whovian223 there as well.

Love Steam friends! Though I don’t have Monster Train

You seriously need to fix that!

Something I have been thinking a lot about lately, that I have been having trouble finding a game that would really suck me in for not just months, but years. While this screen does not show the amount of time I have in WoW, Diablo 2 & 3, Overwatch and FF14, WoW is probably in the thousands, and the others in the 400-500 range.

Still, I feel like it has been forever since I found that next 500+ hour game.

The first two games on that list, Marvel Heroes and SolForge don’t even exist any more. Or I would probably have more hours on both.

I have bought something like 30 games since last November on Steam (in the various sales since the fall), and for many, never even hit 10 hours of playtime on them. I just keep buying more games, and might get a good weekend out of them, and then am looking for the next thing.

Anyway, just sharing some thoughts. I am playing anything and everything, but not sure I am enjoying it all as much these days. Maybe it is a 14 months of quarantine too.

Found ya.

For those not already on my list, my Steam Friend Code is 43705533, but it’ll cost ya 5 bucks (lots of paperwork involved, m’kay?).
