That happened with Twilight Struggle right in the middle of our decathalon. @Strangiato filled us in on the issue, which was fixed within a couple of days if I remember correctly.
The strange thing with Race is that I’m getting notifications in my game with @Pitta but @js619 and @whovian223 are reporting no notifications in their game.
No. Game has been there since forever.
Actually a friend of mine recently bought the game on PC and wanted to try it…and by pure chance I read about the problems you were having…so I started some games with you all to check and eventually alert the devs.
But no problems here, always get the notifications on both devices, everything is like I remembered.
Forgot how much I loved the game.
I love ARPGs like diablo. I had picked up Grim Dawn on sale over the summer and just finding time to play it now, and it is a lot of fun so far.
Path of Exile will be out on Mac next week, which is cool. I have played it on bootcamp a little in the past, but will probably give it a better look on Mac when it comes out.
I’ve asked a similar question before, but I want to tweak it a little:
I’m looking for a high score-style game that specifically has online friend leaderboards. In other words, a game where the goal is a score that can be tracked against how well your friends are doing. I also prefer something in the board/card/strategy/puzzle arenas rather than an arcade game.
Been spending a ton of time on the phone/iPad recently with:
Kavel: high score chaser that the dev recently described as “if Tetris and Bejeweled had a strange baby,” which is pretty accurate. A steal at $1.
A Monster’s Expedition: great puzzle game mentioned in the Apple Arcade thread, from the developer of A Good Snowman is Hard to Build and Cosmic Express. Probably the most accessible of those games–the last time I felt truly stuck was about 15 minutes in, and then I had the first of several “aha!” moments that keeps making the game interesting.
Meteorfall: Krumit’s Tale: it’s kind of a deck-builder, but your “deck” is a collection of tiles for a Card Thief-style board, and it features a number of different characters who play very differently, like the dev’s prior game (Meteorfall: Journeys). Great, great game.
Kingdom: Two Crowns: I really struggled with Kingdom: New Lands–found it interesting but got stuck early and never progressed–but the follow up is much easier to get into and deeper, too. Bought this on a relatively recent half-price sale; I’m sure it’ll go on sale again, if you’re interested and don’t want to pay $10.
I played kingdom : two crowns on Xbox and I really loved it. The way you learned and explored the games mechanisms really appealed to me, and made me want to know what the next secret was.
Of course, the Xbox version was a buggy mess, with multiple game breaking, save corrupting bugs, so I hope they’ve done a better job on the iOS version.
Well while getting my Hades on, received an email from Steam that one of my games on my wishlist was on sale (there are 70 games on my wishlist so I get a lot of those email) but this time it was that the LOTR Adventure Card Game was on sale for under for 50% off and was just $9.99.
Someone on here had talked it up sometime ago and it has been on my wishlist for a while. $10 is generally my “what the heck, I don’t have time to play, but can’t pass up that deal” price range. So I picked it up and just ran through the first part of the tutorial, looks cool.
Back to Hades now, but still glad I picked up this card game for when the Hades Carpal Tunnel starts to set in.
You need to get on to Transistor. It’s a short but sweet game at around 8 hours or so to complete so it’s a very approachable affair between any other mainstays.
