Having a ton of fun with Elden Ring on the Legion. The combo of it being a second play through, portability, and ChatGPT as a (sometimes unreliable) copilot makes it a great time so far.
Well the Grim Dawn has to wait a bit for Mephistoās Eclipse (I get my coat).
This weekend (after Blizzcon Event it seems) there is a limited World Boss Spawn in Diablo 4 called MOOPHISTOā¦.for a game which vehemently states that āThere is no cow level!ā there is an unhealthy obsession with the bovineā¦

Anyone see the new Warcraft III campaign? Thatās a fun surprise. I also like that Amazon was announced for D4. I think my Diablo 2 spearazon build was the first Diablo build I ever played where I played all the way into Torment (I forget if thatās what it was called then) and felt extra powerful. I think all my Diablo characters up until then Iād just play to beat the game on normal and then retire around level 32 or so.
I do love that Blizzard has released contend for older games like Diablo II and Warcraft III. Iād love to see more of this.
On the other hand, the StarCraft announcement sucked. I hate that itās not an RTS and I have doubts that we will ever even see the game. Also, while Diablo V is inevitable, I feel like the announcement was a little early. We wonāt see that for some time.

Yeah, it is very strange that we are not getting one more D4 xpac with actual Diablo in it. Where is Diablo?
I kind of like the WoW Classic+ announcement, although I was really hoping they would bring the DH into it, but I get why they are not. I might actually build a char for that, and trying to decide what. I would do a SPriest if I did not think it meant I would be asked to respec healer all the time.
I might pick up Warcraft 3 (I had the original once upon a time on CD) when it goes on sale and replay it, but in no hurry for that.
I am very excited for the HoTS announcement of Xalatath and that it appears to be comming out of maintenance. It is the only MOBA I actually like.
And two new factions for Battlegrounds is very welcome, although I wish we were not losing the Naga, I like them a lot.

Diablo is in the new season for D4. It is just a recreation of the D1 fight against him, but it is Diablo. I would guess they will have some seasonal storyline over the next 2.5 years that brings a proper Diablo boss into the game and sets up the fall of Sanctuary to lead into D5.
Warcraft 3 is unlocked on my battle.net account and marked as āNewā. I donāt think I ever purchased W3: Reforged, and I certainly didnāt purchase it recently, but I was able to install and have access to the first 2 campaigns.

Money talksā¦.instead of asking a dwindling player base for 40 bucks in 2027 they want them to pay a 100 bucks with returning players and a fresh player base in 2029.
Also Microsoft Mandateā¦.churn out key franchises faster! You didnāt monetize D4 enough! Baaad Blizzard look at PoE! You could have sold a gazillion of treasure chest upgrades!!!
āWasted potential they sayā First Diablo game without Diablo in it (Season rehashes donāt count). This is now the second time they cut a Diablo game short and sell us the final scrapped parts at premiumā¦..who am I kidding I will buy it and like it (Spearazon was my first Diablo 2 character). And I will really like itā¦not a fan of D3 Necromancer pack, not a fan of D2 warlock as wellā¦at least both were barely bearable in D4. Only funny thing is the ordering. Zakarum and Kurgast in first expansion? We donāt get a Templar/Paladin. Skovos Birthplace of the Amazons? We get a Warlock and Paladin. Westmarch expansion scrapped? NOW we get an Amazon?
