You didn’t tell me you ALSO get the original 5 clans as well!?!?!?!?!
Best. Surprise. Ever.

Funny you had that on spoiler - I did not even know that? I guess I will go back and see what I missed in unlocking things. Once I unlocked the last alternate boss I already gave the game a break.
You need to unlock 6 additional pyrehearts it seems
Yup, I had totally not planned to play MT2 today, and because of you, I played off an on all day and just unlocked the first of them.
Proper hard.
“The alters” just came out on game pass and it’s quite good. Story driven sci fi survival game which is doing things I’ve not seen before, and delivering high QoL on the features that are more familiar. Normally I can’t play games with lots of talking, but they have struck a good balance between base building, story, exploration, and interacting with the other characters.
The game could turn to custard later, but right now they seem to have made something noteworthy
That is an understatement if I ever read one…
Let me rephrase that! It’s quite
Sci-Fi setting, story-driven, quite unusual mystery double AA game?
For a reasonable price (on non-Gamepass platforms)??
Yes please!
For real, I am losing sleep over this game… it’s unhealthy…AND I LOVE IT!
Fully back into BotW on the Switch 2. Never really got into it the first time around, but the new Nintendo notes app makes life a lot easier and imho the game more enjoyable. I found it frustrating initially, not knowing where anything was.
What is Nintendo Notes?
I was fully in to BotW and did absolutely everything except find all 999 (or however many it was) korok seeds.
Then for some reason I couldn’t get into TotK at all. Maybe I’ll have the same experience but with the newer Zelda.
There are a hundred different quibbles I have with this game, from the blatantly unfriendly squad management to the irritating strategic movement system, to the tooltips being far too big, and none of them matter when I’m playing it.
After my first session, the next time I loaded the game up, the title screen looked like this.
Mechwarrior:Clans
As if I needed another distraction, they announced a MW5:M new expansion in the clan invasion timeline…both things give me a need to reread the Battletech books…so bad but what do I do…they have juicy Lore/worldbuilding-tidbits between all the YA-pewpewBOOMBANG shlock…
“I would design the MP5 from Hell out of sheer spite.”
I hate this but also want it.
I’m intrigued simply because they have a genuine model name. I hate how so many shooters drop the licensing and give you made-up names. It’s like when racing games do the same and instead of a Ferrari you get to drive a “Red Stallion” or some other such nonsense.
You can optimise the same model of weapon for different roles, which shows they’ve put some thought into the game, instead of just having each mod make the weapon better. It’s not linear.
Rediscovered Hoplite, thanks Reddit.
Fully obsessed. Seems I never finished some of the achievements, so back at it for those.
So many good old games! This week I’ve (re) discovered Pavlov’s House. It’s not amazing from UI standpoint, and the rules are not easy, but I enjoyed it immensely. Such a good game. I remembered I used to own ‘Phantom Leader’ a very long time ago on iOS , but I can not find it anymore on my old apps list. I am planning to revisit Battle of the Bulge (the second and third Shenandoah games are also not downloadable anymore, unfortunately), Panzer Corp, Narco Guerra, Battle Lore, Wings of Glory.
I have really no clue, under which circumstances the App Store keeps games and remove others from its library. But if you happen to own any of those old games, download them and keep them on your device, would be my advice, before they get removed as well. It’s a shame because they still run smoothly on my 2023 iPad.
Oh man, Phantom Leader was such a great solo game, forgot about that one!
