The amount of shit you are going to have to clean out of that vented barrel will cost you more in time than the gun will in money. Didn’t S&W do an 8-rounder decades ago?

They still do, the 627. Believe Taurus does one as well?

eta: the 327 is 8 rounds as well.

Brilliant. More!

I particularly like the cancel culture one.

Can’t wait for it to get to the point where people realise that cancelling Russia means ther prices of gas and other things go up.

“You mean there are consequences?”

Already happening, even before canceling Russia the price of gas is going crazy -.-

Yup. They’ve realised the price to produce and the price they can charge are totally divorced from each other, and they can set about recouping lost profits.

Worked out that two of the guns I ordered came in and cleared this weekend!!

Springfield Armory M1A Scout Squad in .308 (7.62). Sighted it in this morning, tons of fun to shoot and the craftsmanship is fantastic. The walnut stock has a great smell to it and it feels like a piece of history.

Mossberg 590 Nightstick shotgun / not a shotgun. This was fun to shoot for about the first two rounds and I think it’ll be a safe queen. Looks cool, nice to have a shotgun / not a shotgun with a 14 inch barrel, but way too punishing on the wrist.

Had a handgun permit that was expiring the end of the month and this caught my eye in the store. Less than $200 for the Ruger Wrangler single action in .22LR. What a fun little gun - absolutely zero recoil, dead on accurate, and there’s something super cool about a single action revolver. Ordered wood grips for it to dress it up a little and this will be great to teach my daughters how to shoot one day.

The scope placement on that Scout is extremely funky. Would fuck with, 100%. Is that a Burris Scout scope as well? You utter tart.

lol, yup, it’s meant to be placed forward of the action and used with both eyes open. It’s mounted in a quick detach mount by Bobro Engineering and allegedly keeps its zero when detached. Sighted in the iron sights but haven’t done the scope yet, as I need a riser to get a good cheek weld.

(Burris 2-7x32 scout scope)
