@SpiceTheCat @Zebracadabra
Did anyone in our table got the final score? When I checked, suddenly our game was not on my list and I never saw the final screen. Must’ve been a close one.
I thought I screenshotted it but apparently not. Anyway, you won. I was second and @Zebracadabra was third.
Thanks. I thought you’d beat me after all in the end, as you were leading most of the game, or that @Zebracadabra had something up his sleeve (see what I did there) in the final scoring. Happy I won though. Although I must say, that playing this game now made me realize, I don’t like it as much as I did a few years ago.
Same for me, @JaneHatke and @HostileApostle. Did either of you get a chance to see end-game result? It was close.
One of the few less than perfect things about this app - but not as bad as you think! Completed games should be listed when you click the flag with the red X through it.
Please post screenshots if you can!
Yeah, hard to win with 13 skulls….
And 171 is an exceptionally high score I believe.
It is because he had the xanathar lord card. I also had it for the first time in our game. 4 points for every skull in your tavern at the end of the game. I’m not sure the best way to play it, but also ended up with too many skulls.
Not to burst anyone’s bubble but there’s a 216 and a few other 190+ scores up above.
As for Xanathar, I’ll post the canonical BGG article after the dust has settled, but yes it does require a particular strategy to win with.
Good game!
GG @kennfusion and @doublebullout! I screwed up on the result screen shot. Could one of you post…
GG! I am so annoyed at myself, I thought I had one more gold…and I fell short 1g, so could not complete that last 25 pt card I had.
Congrats on the win! Well played.
Apologies for the slow play and thanks for your patience. We were in the process of moving to a new house for much of November and it required a lot of travel.
And that’s a wrap on Lords of Waterdeep, kicking off Season 2 in great fashion!
Next up is Gaia Project, please indicate whether you intend to play or not.

- No - Aliens and power bowls scare me

As promised, a great post about playing with the Xanathar:
but “a little weaker” can be bad enough
Hello again everyone! Here are the details on Gaia Project…
Table groupings by rank are below as usual. We are one player short of an even distribution, so I will join the bottom table to round out the numbers.
The first person at each table will please connect with the other two players and create a “Casual Game” via the usual Digidiced mechanism. (Note that you may need to create a new account or migrate your existing Digidiced account depending on how long it has been since you played one of their games.)
Recommended Settings (with the usual caveat that each table is free to decide for themselves)
- Shuffle Players
- Turn Order By Passing
- Delay Passive Power Charging
- Players choose their Faction
- 9 Sectors (a little tighter for 3P game)
The winner of each game will please post a screenshot of the final scoring display.
Happy gaming and happy holidays!
