I had a reserved seat for him in the one I set up too.
I joined the one you set up. We don’t need the user jason1002 in there, just J4son1002

Ah. It didn’t seem like the space for him was still there but maybe that just wasn’t apparent from my end.
I’m in
Table 5 @Caradog I’ve noticed it’s been your turn for a while, at least that is what I see when I log in to our game. Might be the notifications for this game are broken? If that is a known issue, please check your games daily or twice daily if possible
@Schlotzky, have you started the table 3 game?
keep looking into the game but have never seen a table 3 game
Ah. I hit the button to start.
Sorry folks, I’m out of the country on vacation and not really checking emails so just now seeing these.
Just created the game with my name on it (forgot to call it table 3, can change if needed), with it reserved for @JammaTal and @JMH.75. Sorry for the delay.
Lol. It’s been so long since I played this game! I think I did everything wrong in the first round. Clearly, zero cents is not a good start.
Oh well, it’s fun.
Yeah, I hadn’t played in a long time, so I picked it up again for a couple weeks before we started, which really helped. But I can see why I left off playing. I still think it’s an amazing implementation of a great game, but it’s harder to enjoy the humor of it without being with other human players, and harder to appreciate the randomness without the humor.
I almost missed the fact that we are in the last game of the first “season” of the ladder.
The idea was that a new season could be a time to introduce new games to the ladder but I don’t recall any big new releases in the past few months. (Munchkin was one I was looking forward to but in it’s semi-cooperative form I don’t think it’s a good fit for the ladder.)
I have heard Brass has come back to life, and I think Potion Explosion too, so those are possible contenders.
Does anyone know of other relative new async multiplayer board games on the App Store or perennial favourites that have been fixed?
See the sheet for the list of games we have considered already.
I can confirm that Dragon Castle has working asynch.
There is also Roll Player, Chai, and unmatched.
I wouldn’t mind seeing Scythe on the list, and I’d be willing to try it out with anyone. Setting up a game can be a nightmare but the last time I played it worked fine once the game was running.
I’d definitely vote for Roll Player. Great game, great implementation
I never played Galaxy Trucker physical, and for the app, it’s my first time (I might have played the tutorial once a while ago) but I totally dislike the game I must say. Something about it is not clicking with me.
Can’t wait for the next games.
So, will it be some games from list mentioned above, or are those from previous tournaments and will not be played again? Because there are some nice games in there.
Sorry you’re not enjoying GT. There’s a reason it’s in the “third tier” of games based on ladder participant votes.
As for the next “season” the games will be chosen from the others on the list I shared - one game from each of the top three tiers and then either a tier 4 or a new/resurrected game.
Galaxy trucker used to get huge appreciation in cardboard version many years ago…
I find it a riot, but not super serious
First round of table 7 came to an end. I don‘t know if we need to post screenshots of every round?
My ship (the U.S.S, Garbage can) did marvelous, although the captain (me) still has no clue what he is doing.
No need to post a screenshot after the first flight - other than for “bragging rights” or commiseration.
GG @rinelk and @Zebracadabra
Surprisingly our second round ships held together pretty well.
I thought I would get to use my batteries and shields, but alas they were wasted tiles!
More cargo!!!
I couldn’t draw cargoholds to save my life! Anyway, so much I’ve forgotten about the game but it’s still fun.
