Hefty hardware requirements, though; neither of my devices (only about 2–3 years old) qualify. Looks like I’ll be sticking with VI for a while yet.
I suspect most of you have already seen this news, but Slay the Spire 2 releases into Early Access on March 5:
Has anyone heard of or played Gambonanaza? It looks like t marriage of Balatro and mini chess puzzles. I think it is already on Steam but is coming to iOS soon. I’m certainly intrigued.
Nature by North Star Games just released on iOS. Does anyone know anything about it? It looks just like Evolution.
Heard of Gambonanza but didn’t know it was coming to mobile—way more likely to play it there.
Pretty sure I was in a beta test for Nature, and it really is Evolution 2: The Re-Evolutioning.
Has anyone here seen the new Diablo 2 character? I’m going to have to try out sometime.
Funny story, I was like, “hey, they are putting work into D2? ok, well I should probably buy it finally and check out the new Warlock” and then I bought it and am playing a Hurricane Druid like I always did back in the day.
I will try the Warlock eventually.
Haha, that 100% sounds like something I would do.
I remember back in the day when I was in college and they announced the LoD expansion. Back then, you had to sign up to beta test and if you were one of the few chosen they sent you a CD-ROM. I got chosen and thought I was so awesome; my roommates were jealous. And I played as an Amazon🤣
Haha twins! Haven’t played yet, been D4’ing
BALL x PIT coming to mobile March 12:
Not to far in it but seems…nice? An alternative to minion-manner Necro if you focus on Demons. Still trying to wrap my head around the Eldritch Skill tree. The new improved stash is nice. But I am fighting the buyers remorse somewhat fierce….25 units of monetary value for a single class? Where are the days you got 2 new classes and a whole new act?

Also funny how I always go back to D2 on console….I liked D3 more but the interface/ui inventory management in D3 on console is horrible. So I take the antiquated system of D2 instead and that’s coming from someone who hurt his hand with frantic clicking like a madman when I played it originally 25 years ago…
Nostalgia is a powerful drug indeed
Played a bit Gambonanaza at my PC the other day and I like it. Thanks for the tip!
Hoping it will hit mobile soon, because it will be easier to put some plays into it while sipping my morning coffee. Now it is mostly some moves on Boardgamearena and a a game or two of Star Realms. Or 3 or 4 if I sip more slowly. ![]()
Gambonanza coming to mobile 1 May
Nowhere Prophet on mobile next week.
I liked what I played of it on Switch.
Same here, but like almost every deck builder, I’ll play it more on mobile. Thanks for the heads up!
Civ 7 on iOS got multiplayer if that’s your thing
The expansion for Istanbul has released on iOS.
Card Crawl 2 is coming out 3/26. iOS preorder link below. Unfortunately, it looks like Arnold Rauers has gone full mobile dev and made this a “true F2P game.” (Quote from his end of year blog, which I clearly didn’t read well enough at the time.) Some dodgy looking IAPs in there, for sure. I’m not paying $4.99 a month to remove ads.
Yeah, that monthly subscription is insane. My interest in the game went straight down the toilet.
Edit: According to his Discord, any IAP disables ads. There are, however, optional ads for daily bonuses. The subscription is for these dailies. I still hate it.
Lost interest in that outfit back when they put out that clockwork mouse game. It burned the last vestiges of goodwill I had for them that Card Thief and Miracle Merchant hadn’t already. Now I just ignore whatever they cook up. This game is like eight years too late.
