@Neumannium thanks for cleaning up the spam - site looks cleaner in a way too! New font maybe? Either way, h/t.
Yeah, there seems to be a bit of a redesign that I’m liking.
I know nothing about the game, but I saw it was published today.
Seems something similar to Carcassonne (and portrait, always a plus in my book)
EDIT: according to the developer, multiplayer is async on iOS and Android (cross platform too). I asked directly on twitter and they answered me.
Does anyone know anything about the game?
I know nothing of this game … but there is information at BGG …
We adored the game as a family, so I am excited for the app. The game is. Legacy game where you place polyominos to build your own city. With each game, new rules and new tiles appear so each game ends up playing a little differently. The game is fairly light but really well done.
It is interesting to see that they added multiplayer here since it as such a glaring absence in Maracaibo.
Pleased to report that Watergate is async and aside from using the stupid “join code” method of matchmaking appears to be solid. It’s going smoothly except for my glaring lack of knowledge regarding the rules and or strategy.
I still haven’t pulled the trigger on My City yet, but I do have to say that it’s got a really lame icon…
Just ordered this IRL. Haha. I wonder if the campaign is the same as the board game.
downloaded My City and liked to play the daily (7th of September) challenge.
this can lead to great leaderboard high score battles!
I keep forgetting to make a shameless plug here for the “Perpetual Multi-game Ladder” tournament that is in its fifth “season” (sets of 4 pre-determined games.)
This has been a fun but casual way for a bunch of us to get some variety in both the games we are playing and the people we are playing with.
Anyone can join anytime (you will be added to the middle of the ladder) and each game in the series is “opt in” - play if you want and have time, skip if you don’t.
This “season” we played Lords of Waterdeep, we are just wrapping up Cascadia, and then will be heading into Race for the Galaxy next, followed by Steam: Rails to Riches - so you can see I try to make it a real mix of old favourites, new gems, and almost forgotten games. ![]()
(Note: all the games are available on iOS but of course these days there are some cross-platform play options.)
Hop over to the thread and post, or DM me if you are interested!
I see some likes on my post above… the poll is open for Race for the Galaxy - new players welcome!
Has anyone tried Set a Watch and does anyone know of it has asynchronous multiplayer? On that note, are there any board games with asynchronous multiplayer on iOS? A&A, I guess, if you want to comp stomp. Anything that we’d consider a “cooperative game?” It’s a shame that Handelabra games are real time-only.
I’ve tried it; the publisher said it’s single-player only in the comments on this Reddit post:

Ball x pit is out. Your progress from the demo should carry over to the full game
Dicefolk just released on iOS. In a genre that had definitely become bloated, it’s always nice to see a roguelike that seems to do something different. Dicefolk seems to combine roguelike runs with Pokemon monster collecting all fueled by dice collection/customization/mitigation. I haven’t put any time in yet but the game is free to try with a 1-time $5 unlock. Reviews of the PC version se to be positive.
Loving the Final Girls I’ve played so far. Here’s my review of one feature film, with a link to my other reviews (only two other so far, but increasing).
New Ascension Standalone expansion incoming on Steam and mobile. (though this does skip two entire standalone expansions)
