Just a follow-up on Neuroshima Hex, it looks like is was not only just pulled from the App Store, but it was removed from my library as well, so I guess I’m never playing that again…

Tides of Time is completely gone as well. Imperial Settlers Roll & Write is not on the App Store, but is still in my library at least.

Edit: It’s back on the App Store, though it is a “new” app that costs $6. Screenshots look the same. Ditto Tides of Time. Basically, it’s as if Portal removed their library, then added it back and none of the games show as purchased anymore.

My review of the Ark Nova app

I agree, I think the app is great. For the record, there is an option to speed up opponent animations.

Portal is nuts. And NH is cursed.

That said, I’m digging the Steam app so far (although I have to play it in Parallels, which makes my Mac hotter than the sun). I have no idea who Baked Games might be, but they seem serious about supporting NH. Hell, for all I know, it might be a bunch of former Portal guys. :man_shrugging:

Does the PC version allow 4 players?

Not that I see. The main matchup window has “Player 1” on the left and “Player 2” on the right. I don’t see any other options.

True, but the other apps actually have a “skip” function which is really nice

Watergate: The Board Game is available on iOS.

I don’t know much about the adaptation. I don’t recognize the developer and the description is sparse. Screenshots show solo, pass & play, and online, though I don’t know if it is asynchronous.

The developer is actually the guy (or couple) behind the Boardgame Stats app, which is pretty cool. And I love the game, but right now I’m trying not to spend any more app money.

One of my irl gaming friends favorite games, so I bought. Never played but will report back.

A little issue with account creation; kept making me reenter the code it sent to my email, but finally got it. Key seems to be not exiting the game to go to your email while in account setup.

Did also download it. Will try to make actually time for i5 this week.

I’m mainly curious if there is asynchronous.

I hope the port is good. This game deserves all its praises, and anyone getting turned away because a shoddy port…

Subnautica is just so good!

Subnautica looks gorgeous on my m4 ipad pro. It supports 120 hz refresh rate and I have the landscape detail at max setting. I have the resolution set at very high. I got a warning popup when I tried to set it to max (“absurdly high”) resolution saying that extended game play at this resolution can overheat your device so I decided not to risk it. I have only played it for about 30 minutes. I tested positive for Covid after coming back from vacation from Maui so I haven’t felt like playing much. The touch controls seem okay. Probably better to play with a controller. The only survival game that I’ve really put a decent amount of time into is Grounded so I don’t really know what I’m doing yet. But it looks beautiful and gameplay is smooth as butter.

Take care of yourself and just relax with the ipad–I’ve heard the summer strain is pretty nasty.

Can any of you Watergate buyers confirm if it has asynch?

Thanks. I’m doing okay but I feel bad because I probably gave it to my mother on the plane flight home as she was sitting next to me. Her symptoms have been much worse than mine.
