I’m in too!

Through the first two turns, the game provided Steam turn notifications for each. It also replays your opponents’ turns after you load the session, and provides a turn log showing cards played, resources earned, cards purchased, and cards that entered the Dungeon Row.

Notifications, replays AND a log? Blimey.

And to think other games deliver ā€œone person sees the final scores if it doesnt crashā€ and consider that good enough to ship

One more slot still open in the second game if anyone interested? @Mirefox ?

If you can give me until the morning, yes. I’m out for the evening.

This could be a big deal. Has anyone tried their other apps (greenland, neanderthal) to see if they know what theyre doing?

(link shows zero gameplay, supposed to be launching this season)

I’m in! Sorry @mirefox!

No prob. Let us all know how it goes.

Let us know when you’re good to go. Can always start another game. Thanks for the heads up on this game as well. Had heard a bit about Clank! - never played - enjoying it.

Are you people talking about Clank?
I know nothing about the game, but it’s been ages since I played on my iPhone a deck builder possibly with async….which kind of game is it? Is it good on iOS? (Notifications etc…).

Yup, talking about Clank!. It’s one of my favourite deckbuilders on tabletop and the digital port is quite nice IMO. It’s async, I can’t speak for what it’s like on iOS as I’ve only got it on Steam and Android, but it’s well done on both of those, with notifications, etc.

Also started up another 4p game on the 2nd advanced map. same ā€œsp1ā€ password.

You have a deck builder with a row and a few permanent cards, exactly like ascension. There are monsters to beat but the other cards enable the other half of the game. The other part of the game is a dungeon with treasure scattered around it. You use your deck to play cards to move around and collect the loot. That’s it in a nutshell with some more depth. It is great.

I’m in! Played the advanced map against the AI (unsuccessfully) earlier this afternoon. Completely different dynamics.

I took the 4th spot. Let’s go!

And here I thought that was a remake of one of my favorite Commodore 64 games… Cold War games on early home computer hardware in a foreign language as a nine year old kid…ESOTERIC WAREFARE BABY!
ahem I’ll get my coat…

I haven’t received a Steam turn notification for Clank! for the last two turns. Has anyone else experienced this?

I’ve got 3 games running  IOS notifications seem to be working - however I only received one notification today. When I had a chance to check in - it was my move in all 3 games - so 🤷

Thanks for the Clank! Recommendation.
I just did the tutorial and I love it, even if it’s a bit tiny on iPhone.

I may be dumb but….how do you create an async game with a friend?
I mean…it seems it lets me create a game with a friend only if we’re both online (even for async, not live)….which seems really weird to me?
I can’t select any friend (says no one is online) for an async game.

I’ll happily play with you all (async) but please be gentle, I’m a total newbie but I really like the deck building-dungeon crawler combo (I know there is an expansion that makes the game even more a dungeon crawler with tiles discovery, my favorite gameplay thing, so hopefully it will come someday).
