It looks like Acram has acquired the Tokaido app. I wonder if it has asynchronous now?
IIRC Stonemeier Games recently acquired the rights to the physical board game, maybe that had something to do with it.
Age of Empires Mobile is out now. I assume it’s the same faux-strategy non-game that I’ve seen 100 other times but maybe this time I’ll be pleasantly surprised?
In a related - but also completely different - note, Feral is brining Empire: Total War to mobile soon.

Yomi and Puzzle Strike were both just updated recently to support newer iOS devices. I thought I’d give credit where credit is due because I assumed they were long abandoned as they hadn’t been updated in 7 or so years and were stuck in the old aspect ratio. I’ll give them a try sometime to see how they’re running.

It sounds like it is good but I am going to have to wait a week or two. I am not saying that the developers don’t deserve their money, especially when they make quality products that give me hours of entertainment, but this trend to $10+ games makes them far less of an instant-buy than when games used to drop for $1-3. My son just got some teeth knocked out in gym class so that’s been a huge ordeal here with a bunch of out of pocket costs and suddenly a frivolous $11 hits hard.

There’s a new CCG listed on Steam called Cards of Eternity: The Wheel of Time. The last thing I need or want is yet another digital CCG but I won’t be able to resist opening packs just to see the art for the books.
