Yeah, same. I watched a video on it this morning and it looks cool.
GODDAMN this Sixty-Four game
Iām in as well hopefully, as soon as it lands on iOS
Sixty-four, day two. Hour ?
The graphics are simple, clean, and beautiful. Almost reminds me of Rymdkapsel in a way.
I have no idea of the point but Iām 3400 meters down on my deepest extracting channel, which has since been improved to an excavating channel. I have multiple destabilizers, nearly all of which have been upgraded to industrial stabilizers and several to hell gem destabilizers.
Two hell gem injectors ensure a steady stream of the precious and rare green gem and my five pump stations dig autonomously and efficiently. The real kink in the works is constantly feeding the entropy resonators with qanetite and I hope to solve that issue soon. Thankfully, my ever present fill director has made the task of determining the empty ones easier.
Shit, must go. The machines must be fed!
ETA By god Iāve solved the entropy issue!!!
The ramblings of a madmanā¦
One of the best games is backā¦ Not from our Playdek team, butā¦ better than nothing.
If anyone is up for a match, let me know please
Awesome!
It hurts a little to lose Playdekā¦and all the factions I boughtā¦
Still, great game.
Edit: I find it worrying that the game has not asked me to enable notifications.
Second Edit: Found it. Thereās a little check box to enable notifications. Iām not sure why it isnāt checked by default.
Blast from the past right here! Will grab it when I get to my iPad later
For clarificatio, after signing in, go to āonline playā , press the gear , then click ānotify meā.
Not sure how it works in the end, but it looks promising overall.
First game created, it seems to use a link to joinā¦ I set up a game with base decks and 14 days timer per player.
Here is the link to my game feel free to join anyone:
What a bizarre method of setting up private gamesā¦
There is also no friends list that I saw.
Yeah, unfortunatelyā¦ I am not even sure the link works. Until now, no one has joined.
When I click it it brings me to the web page. Not helpful for joining a game in the app. Maybe if I can find a way to link the browser-based game to my Apple ID I could launch it on the web then pick it up on the app but that is an awful lot of hoops to jump through for something that shouldnāt be that complicated.
If you tap on Join Private Game in the app you can paste a āgame invitation urlā.
I accepted the @Blackfyre in the iPad browser by clicking the red back arrow above the exhortation to use the mobile app and then tapping on a prompt labelled āJoin Private Gameā. I see the game in the app and in the iPad browser.
@Blackfyre I am now away from tomorrow until Sunday so it was not so smart of me to join the game. Nevertheless ā¦ good practice with the app. Plus I was given a choice of factions and excitedly clicked on Breakers without knowing anything about them. I will try and get some turns in whilst I am away ā¦ and happy to play more (games as well as turns) when I am back.
Edit: First turn taken. Masterful.
Given a choice of factions? Do you have the monthly subscription? I was given the phoenix elves for free and right now the polar dwarves are free to play; Iām not sure if that is on a rotation or not.
The game also has a solo campaign of sorts where you play games with various rule sets. I only tried it out once and got completely stomped, so Iāll have to revisit.
I do not know how well notifications work but aside from the invite niggles mentioned the game is solid. Iām not a huge fan of subscription models but the price here sure makes it tempting. At the very least for $3 I can try out the factions I donāt own and see which Iād like to purchase in-game or at the table.
It would be cool if the tabletop packs gave codes to unlock the digital armies, but maybe that would make the game less sustainable.
I do not have a subscription. The choice of many was offered when accepting the game invitation. When creating a game I am limited to the (I presume) standard Polar Dwarves and the ārandomly awarded at first useā other faction.
Interesting. So if a buddy and I alternate who creates that seems to give us both the opportunity to select any faction every other game? Iāll have to test this out once heās up and running on the app.
Itād be nice if there was a bundle to just purchase them all at once; Iād probably get that just to satisfy the completionist in me. Getting them all at 3.99 a pop is not only cost prohibitive but annoying from a click and Face ID perspective.
Agreed. Iād always rather own outright but the way it is set up I may just buy one at a time over time. My investment will likely also depend on how smoothly online works, especially with my close friends.
Dune Imperium just popped up on the App Store. $10.99.
Greetings, party people.
Iām a big fan of D:I, even though I am next-level terrible at the game. And apparently, my old Dire Wolf account was still working, as I can be found at ā¦ stunner ā¦ āTheDukester.ā Up for any and all games; maybe Iāll somehow actually improve.
BTW, for anyone on the fence: itās a GREAT game. Truly. A very thoughtful design.
