I got an email immediately after I started the game.
Not entirely related, but this screwup reminds me of the system we use at my university to track student informationācourses taken, grades, etc. Since weāre part of a state university system, the software used to be known as the āIntercampus Student Information Systemā until a certain organization in the Middle East came to prominence. Itās just the āStudent Information Systemā now.
Same problem here.
Our HR system for instructor appointments was called ISIS. Now itās called ISI. LOL
Zen Koi is not really a game that follows this forumās general purview but I saw something interesting today:
Zen Koi and its sequel Zen Koi 2 are relaxing games where you swim you koi around a habitat, eating critters, leveling up, breeding new patterns, etc. It is basic critter collector like weāve been seeing since Pocket Frogs and it is perfectly fine. It also has premium current currencies and timers and the like, as you see in many f2p games.
The reason I bring all this up is that today the company released Zen Koi Premium, which is the same game but with no timers or premium currencies. Now they are pricing it at $10, which is quite high, but I canāt applaud them enough for going this route. I am also tempted to make the purchase just to support this business decision.
Thatās it. I just found this interesting.
Well this is exciting news (yes, Iām linking to my blog post, but stillā¦)
Undaunted: Normandy is going to be coming to Steam Early Access later this year and iOS (and full Steam release) in Q1 2023.
The New Age just landed for Aeonās End!
I wish theyād find a way to make it playable on a phone. I mean, I wish that for every iPad-only game like Twilight Struggle and Titan but for some reason Aeonās End is the one I want most.
I believe Handelabra has alluded to this being a goal of theirs like the phone conversions they have done to all of their games.
Puzzle Quest 3 seems to be released now on Android
I wish so badly that it would be review bombed but it seems to be getting good reviews in general. The f2p model is garbage.
The reviews that are up now at the end of the day seem more mixed. Forced purchases, hard paywalls, chest timers etc. The kind of stuff we all hate. Gak.
An interesting tidbit I heard the devs discuss somewhere (I thought it was Discord but now I canāt find it) when asked about multiplayer support went to the effect of,
āTrue multiplayer support might be implemented down the road but itās a pretty low priority. In the meantime just use your favorite Screen Share app as there is absolutely no hidden information between the players in Aeonās End.ā
Roll Player digital is apparently in the works. Likely going into Early Access on Steam by the end of the month. Mostly organized in their discord at the moment: https://discord.gg/AWQtrjQR
Holy crap, thatās great!!!
Amazing! Have been watching the table version for agesā¦ couldnāt justify the buy in
Though the ā(redacted)ā part is a bit weird, thereās word from Shiny Shoe in the second part of this announcement that they will in fact bring Monster Train to mobile (actual mobile).
Personally cannot wait. My gaming needs on mobile will basically be complete.
Thatās awesome! Iāve enjoyed it on Steam but for some reason havenāt played in a while. Might get me going if itās on mobile.
Great! I really like the genre and am always looking for more. Slay the Spireās lack of Cloud saves ticks me off quite a bit and Iām looking for alternatives.
YES. I was almost that jerk who responded to MegaCritās āwe added Steam Deck supportā post with, āGreat, are you ever gonna add cloud saves to iOS?ā but decided acting like a petulant child on Twitter probably wasnāt a good look.
