I’m unfamiliar with Blades of the Shogun, but there is a rather large 15 year gap in my PC gaming. I remember the original Desperados as a Wild West version of Commandos. And there was also Star Trek: Away Team in the same vein as those. A new version of that would blow my mind.
There seem to be some big sales popping up on the App Store. Acram games are on sale, some Asmodee games are on sale, and I noticed that One Deck Dungeon is only $3.99. Terraforming Mars is down to $6, and while I am immensely frustrated with the multiplayer experience, the game itself is one of the best board games out there.
Yesterday, TestFlight notified me of this update to the game, listed as version 1.1673 (1673):
I don’t own the game, so I don’t know what the current released version is.
Maybe my tech speak isn’t up to par but it doesn’t say anything about the lack of notifications. Hopefully that is buried in the “online improvement” stuff.
Steam Sale will be starting today.
App Store page lists 1.1368 as the release version on Feb 20, 2020.
I can really recommend One Deck Dungeon !
i never had a problem with notifications in my last 3 or 4 Terraforming Mars async online games
but i wonder about “player clock default value is set to 2 hours for both public and private online games”.
it can be changed when creating a game, i hope.
It’s always been able to be changed before so I wouldn’t think that would change now.
I think the previous default was like 30 minutes, so it would be nice to have a default of 2 hours (though I would never play that).
Really? @SpiceTheCat and I tried a game out about a month ago and there wasn’t a single notification. We had to use StatelyPlay messaging…
I’ll give the beta version another shot if anyone else is up for a game.
I will play, Belg69 is my asmodee
Well there’s this
WHAT? HOW? WHY?
…well it will NEVER work on my cough old iPad Pro…
Wow!
I just have to say that I’m loving Griftlands. I’ve only played with the first character, but I’m having a lot of fun with it.
Everything I love about Slay the Spire but done slightly differently and with a bit of an RPG frame around it.
There is a new Stellaris game out on iOS. My guess is that it is just another garbage f2p “strategy” “empire builder” like Clash of Clans and all other such nonsense, but maybe I’m wrong? If anyone dabbles in it let us know.
Oh god, if it’s the same Stellaris that got removed by paradox when they found the dev had stolen art from other sci fi games…
All I can say is avoid at all costs. I’ve got an certain amount of patience with free games, but this one made my skin crawl.
Well, it’s full of timers and currency. Got to the 5th level on everything and hit that wall of timers which brought me to a screeching halt.
Hard pass from me.
Gross.
