It took a while to learn it, but after that, it was was a blast. Such a loss.

Penny Arcade and Fluxx could have really used any/all expansions. Card games live and die with new content.
Nightfall, too, I guess ⌠although I loathed it completely. So screw you, Nightfall.
Food Fight, too, I suppose. That one had like 100 campaign levels, but was very same-y.

Speaking of deckbuilder games that could do with an expansion (though currently actually on the store), Shards of Infinity horrendously needs one. Great little deckbuilder, but gee is the card pool small.
And speaking of old Playdek games, I cracked open Summoner Wars again the other week. Really like the theming and difficulty of that one, particularly trying to work with the RNG of the dice rolls. Can be a love hate relationship with that game, but that was a blast from the past that actually made it across the 32bit -> 64bit great divide.

Summoner Wars is an absolutely fantastic card game. Easily one of my all-time favorites. The app is good, but old and a little rough around the edges at this point. It is #1 on my wish list for a little quality of life love, but Iâm sure it wonât be happening.
BattleChasers: Nightwar Was $3 last night so I snagged it. Great traditional RPG and a steal at $3. I donât know how long it has been on sale or how long the sale will last.

I totally agree. Not just that Shards needs more cards, but that the expansion actually gives you a benefit for taking cards that are the same as your âcharacterâsâ (or whatever it is) faction.
In the base game, it doesnât matter at all what faction you are.

I think we had this same conversation a month ago. The bottom line is that you shouldnât hold your breath waiting on that Shards expansion as the develop probably isnât interestedâŚ
yes, we did. And yeah, I know theyâre not going to do it.
But it really needs it.
