Yet another digital CCG (that isn’t Magic) is out on iOS today. It is called Red and Blue and I’m sure I read somewhere in some advertising disguised as a preview that this one is somehow better or different, blah, blah, blah.

I’ll try it out sometime like I do every CCG and report back if it is worth a look.

Didn’t want to resurrect a dead thread, so posting here. Not getting notifications for RftG on the new iPad - anyone else upgrade devices and experience this? Any ideas on the fix? (All notifications are enabled).

Also, @whovian223 @kennfusion sorry for the slow moves - I keep forgetting to check the app for turns.

I haven’t gotten notifications for quite some time.

It hasn’t been updated in over a year, still uses the old screen ratio, hasn’t included all the expansions, and hasn’t had working notifications for some time. I consider it abandoned at this point; they can prove me wrong.

The developer — who has posted here? — is pretty deep into Roll for the Galaxy, which is in alpha.

Sadly, I’d add “no expansion for Shards of Infinity” to the wish list, too. The first set is so played out. I’ve never seen a game that so badly needed new content.

Amen to that! Such a great game, but getting more cards to mix in is getting close to essential for me.

Weird, I remember getting noti’s on my old iPad. Wishful thinking, perhaps. Saw the devs posted something (Twitter thread, maybe?) basically saying that there’s no money in expansions and they’d rather push new stuff versus expansions. Caveat emptor, I suppose, but still a shit attitude.

I don’t remember the details because all I play is just Shards of Infinity :stuck_out_tongue: but if you install again RttG you have to resync the account (can’t say it with better words).
I remember I had same problem and solved it re linking the account (the code is new as it is per device)…or I remember something like that.

Hope it helps.

The certificate that’s required to connect to Apple’s push notification server expires after a year. If you don’t manually go through the process to renew it, notifications just stop working.

That’s crazy talk. Expansions are more lucrative because you don’t have to rebuild the entire game to get a new product available for sale. And releasing new content will almost always drive sales of the base game. Ascension has always been one of our most successful products because of the availability of expansion content. And if there’s one app that Shards of Infinity most closely resembles…

I haven’t had any notifications in Race for the Galaxy in ages. I just go by my turns against people in other apps.

If I’ve had turns in Ascension from @js619, I check Race for the Galaxy. LOL

Great game … typical Asmodee “effort” on the app.

You can’t beat free, though. It’s worth checking out.

Darkest Dungeon is getting…pvp? The Butcher’s Circus, due next month, will add a 4v4 pvp option where you send your squad against those of other players without the risk of losing them but with the ability to earn special trinkets. Interesting…

Lol, the tutorial doesn’t even tell you what to do! It says my goal is to get rid of all my cards and then starts up a game with no explanation…to the rule book I go, I guess.

Wow, did it get worse? I downloaded on Day One, and I remember I thought the tutorial was lacking. But at least it was something.

BTW, your real goal is to the best combinations. In doing so, you will naturally be left with fewer cards.

I did my First Look at the Labyrinth app from Playdek on my blog. For an Early Access game, it’s pretty good!

I used my initial game with @Hardco for my screenshots, so thanks for inviting me to a game! I now have 4 going…

Some free Pinball FX3 tables on Steam. Get them quick. I think it ends April 8th.
