LOL yeah I’d love to say it was a drag-and-drop error but the truth is I just screwed up.
I looked at the better space while doing a first perusal of all the spaces, concluded that berries might be a bit difficult to get this game, and then went for the Berry + Card space followed by immediately realizing my mistake.
Have I mentioned what a pet peeve a lack of Undo in a digital adaptation is for me?
I do appreciate the attempt to give some advice though!
I’m with @Codington on the drag and drop - I did the tutorial and found the meeple placement to be difficult at best. The hit box isn’t where I expect it to be and it got a little frustrating at points when the board got crowded…
Also doesn’t look like any of my Dire Wolf friends came over from other games, is that normal?
Yeah the complexity in this one seems to be in the fight for action spaces, “order of operations” (like trying to build a location so you can play the associated creature for free), and of course the race for bonus points with the events/sets of cards.
Oof, yeah. I’ve done that, and I hate it. It’s a lame workaround, but try and get used to scrolling the map with your left hand. I stay as far away from the worker pool as possible when I’m looking around.
They really need to fix how squirrels choose whatever. So many touch errors! I’m at a point where I’d play, resigned to the fact I will commit several touch errors in the course of the game. An undo would be welcome.
