Redwall! I mean, Everdell!

LOL yeah I’d love to say it was a drag-and-drop error but the truth is I just screwed up.

I looked at the better space while doing a first perusal of all the spaces, concluded that berries might be a bit difficult to get this game, and then went for the Berry + Card space followed by immediately realizing my mistake.

Have I mentioned what a pet peeve a lack of Undo in a digital adaptation is for me? :stuck_out_tongue:

I do appreciate the attempt to give some advice though!

I’m sure I will make a dozen dumb plays this game. I wasn’t calling you out so much as making sure I didn’t miss something, lol.

I’m with @Codington on the drag and drop - I did the tutorial and found the meeple placement to be difficult at best. The hit box isn’t where I expect it to be and it got a little frustrating at points when the board got crowded…

Also doesn’t look like any of my Dire Wolf friends came over from other games, is that normal?

Yeah, I think that’s normal.

I’m not 100% ready but I wouldn’t mind being in a four player (or three, if that’s all that want to play) game starting later this week.

Not quite finished with the tutorial but it doesn’t appear to be all that complex.

Look at that, it came back around. No harm, no foul, eh?

Yep. Especially amusing it was still open since we publicly talked about why that spot was potentially worth taking.

Yeah the complexity in this one seems to be in the fight for action spaces, “order of operations” (like trying to build a location so you can play the associated creature for free), and of course the race for bonus points with the events/sets of cards.

And there it is… trying to drag the playing area around and accidentally placed a worker. We should boycott games without Undo!

Oof, yeah. I’ve done that, and I hate it. It’s a lame workaround, but try and get used to scrolling the map with your left hand. I stay as far away from the worker pool as possible when I’m looking around.

They really need to fix how squirrels choose whatever. So many touch errors! I’m at a point where I’d play, resigned to the fact I will commit several touch errors in the course of the game. An undo would be welcome.

What kind of devices are you all playing on? I have not really had a problem with an iPad Pro. But I could imagine it would be very hard on an iPhone.

I’ll play but I have reservations about all the touch errors, so I wouldn’t take the result too seriously.

iPad Pro 12.9. I blame it on my old eyes and arthritic hands?

Don’t blame it on yourself. The blame belongs squarely on Direwolf.n they’re better than this. Really.

We’re going to wait for a 4th, specifically our buddy Ward (Zen4One), ok!
