Congrats on the win, and that was a fast game.

So let’s keep this moving. @Mirefox you are the next up to challenge King @JammaTal

You may challenge him to any game from his list:

Through the Ages
Concordia
Castles of Burgandy
Gaia Project
Brass
Yellow and Yangtze

Once you have selected the game, I will let you know who the 3rd member of your game is.

@Hardco and @SpiceTheCat you may at this time change any games on your list.

Good game! I felt so far behind most of the game, it was nice to close the gap towards the end.

Is turn order fixed by the order on the left side of the screen at the beginning of the game? I’d have chosen a different starting tile if I knew for sure I was third. I suspected I was, but not sure enough to pass up the 1 hex mine opportunity. In hindsight, the bottom left castle hex was probably my best choice.

I believe you mean @hardco can change his list, no?

Anyways, it’s been a while since I’ve played but I’d like to challenge in Y&Y!

Yup, I meant @Hardco, fixed.

Ok, so Yellow and Yangtze it is. And interestingly enough, the only other person with Y&Y on their list is @SpiceTheCat, so he is back in the ring.

@Mirefox please send out the challenges and let me know once the game has started so I can track the starting date.

FYI: Turn order is determined by where you are on the “sailing track” (not sure what it’s really called.) When you play a ship, you move forward on the track and the turn order changes for the next turn. In case of a tie, the turns go from top of the stack to the bottom.

Good game both! I was happy with the start, competing with @JammaTal and well ahead of @Hardco. Then I made the wrong decision not to go for the second field (partly because of JT snapping up a key castle), and not going for boats as well, and faded. Ready for next time

Yeah, I know this once the game starts, but maybe I just forget during setup…

I’ll keep my list the same for now.

Ah got it - I believe setup turn order is random but for sure the same turn order indicator is there - from top to bottom of the stack on the sailing track.

turn order for first round is determined by random shuffle.
as compensation later players get more workers.
the later the more.

@JammaTal I sent a PM but can I get your DWD name so I can set up our Y&Y game?

it’s JammaTal+5156

Great. Please accept my friend invite and we will get going.

Yellow & Yangtze is underway!

Went to take my first move and realised I had more or less forgotten how to play Y&Y  I had to blast through a bunch of SP games until it came back to me.

Just out of curiosity, what happens if the challenger picks a game where there is no third person with the game in their list?

It has not happened yet, but the rules state:

If there is no 3rd person on the list with the challenged game on the list, the 3rd person on the list would have the ability to add it to their list (if they are not already at 7 games listed) or change one game out. If they pass, it would go down the list until someone accepts. If nobody accepts, the first person on the list who owns the game (honor system) would get drafted.

I’ve never played Y&Y three player and it really feels like a different experience. Not an excuse; I was likely to lose anyways.
