Went to take my first move and realised I had more or less forgotten how to play Y&Y 
I had to blast through a bunch of SP games until it came back to me.
Just out of curiosity, what happens if the challenger picks a game where there is no third person with the game in their list?

It has not happened yet, but the rules state:
If there is no 3rd person on the list with the challenged game on the list, the 3rd person on the list would have the ability to add it to their list (if they are not already at 7 games listed) or change one game out. If they pass, it would go down the list until someone accepts. If nobody accepts, the first person on the list who owns the game (honor system) would get drafted.

I’ve never played Y&Y three player and it really feels like a different experience. Not an excuse; I was likely to lose anyways.
no doubt about it that this is a great and wonderful competition!
based on a unique and interesting idea. kudos to @kennfusion for this new concept.
so when i have to announce that i need to take a break after the running Yellow & Yangtze match
(what a great game!) it has nothing to do with the event.
it’s just that i must cut back gaming activities.
it would be great to leave as a King, so i’m giving my best in the running match.
i hope i will be able to come back after some time.

i would have liked to see the outcome of the last war and replays of the final moves in the game 
couldn’t remember this weak spot (Terraforming Mars’ian flavor) of an otherwise convincing app.

Good game both!
Edit to add the penultimate screen;
before the artisan scoring to show how we got there. Balanced scores across all the colours just beat out @JammaTal’s massive artisan lead.

that final war came as an unpleasant kingmaker surprise too.

No, it didn’t. I was in a rough spot and unable to get a yellow pagoda. I wasn’t so much as trying to kingmake or cause chaos as I was trying to bleed out some reds to hopefully get another shot at winning a war. Time wasn’t my friend.

and as you had mentioned before a 3P constellation brings on a lot of unpredictability in Y&Y.

I did have a full move, and just played a green and two blues. The war took out my black leader, which made no difference.

Yes. Gem Rush was on my list originally and I don’t remember changing it, though I suppose I may have.

Yup, I see the first request, I must have missed it from the list and neither of us noticed. Cool, well it is not there 
hush! i had (futile) hopes that Mirefox would play out one more tile (why should he?) so that the game would have ended instantly for my win. it all hang on one single tile.
technically i could have ended the game before, but i would have lost the tiebreak and my turn pushed me from 14 to 16, with 6 tiles left in the pool.
i had some hopes to be the last player to have a full turn, or you would have to sacrifice a half-move for denying me the last full turn.
couldn’t see a reason why Mirefox should start a war, but…unpredictable.
it was a great game! very exciting and enjoyable.
