iāve made my decision on converting VPs to power, and this refreshed my timer for the following turn.
GG! That is the 2nd game in a row where I thought I had the math all right to build a 3rd federation and then it turned out I was wrong.
I probably need to play some games vs the AI to figure out what I am missing.
Looking at the map, I donāt understand how you even had 2 federations, but I probably have no clue what you faction does.
our home planets are worth +1 point for making a federation after we build our PI. I think I build my first federation though before I build a PI so messed myself up.
we should better stay away from the Gaia update for as long we have games running.
digidiced updates arenāt known for blowing up running games but weād better stay on the safe side.
We should be super close to wrapping this one. My next action is the super powerful āPassā

Sorry, have moved it on. I think either Iāve misunderstood the rules or donāt know how to interact with the app, so far Iāve not had the option to use the Terrans ability to spend power during the Gaia phase š¤·

a) faction auction
b) players choose their factions in shuffled player sequence.
c) random factions (last player rotates sectors)
when no option gains a majority of votes, the faction auction will stay in place.
Faction Auction for 1st division please. Our game was close enough for faction auction to actually have an impact.
my vote goes to: Faction Auction too.
essentially it worked like b) [players choose their factions in shuffled sequence] in all our games, but there is that little backdoor to enable fighting for a most wanted faction when you are in a late pick position.
de facto the poll is decided. with 2 votes for FA there can only be a draw and that means FA will stay.
