While the game itself is nowhere near the level of Through the Ages, the CGE polish really shines through here as well, and I appreciate it. It only makes me wish CGE would make more apps. They know how to do it right.
I am enjoying the trucking. This game use to be so hyped!
Congratulations @Codington.
Good game everyone and thanks for playing!
Nice to see the app running so many years and still a joy to play.
Btw, itās the only heavy Rosenberg game I really like and also hope to see it in the ladder soon as well.
GG! Itās funny to me how the goal is pretty much to just barely hold it together and carry some cargo over the finish line.
On a general note, I still feel like two stages is better for async than three but would greatly appreciate hearing what others think!
I think i probably need to run the tutorial again I think - I did not really remember what we were doing.
By stages, do you mean each round of building a ship and then taking flight? We did that twice, you can do that 3 times? Is the only difference the game is longer?
Yes, I guess the game calls them flights. Each flight includes building your ship and then navigating through a random deck of āencountersā. Each flight involves a bigger ship and therefore more challenging encounters.
I canāt remember how large the ship is for the third flight but I remember itās big enough that it takes quite some time to get through the third building round in an async game.
Iāll probably suggest folks do a two flight game for the ladder but as always leave it open to each table to decide to play the full game and/or add the expansion.
I think for the three fight version, the last ship is try hard to keep together yeah?
Good game @Mirefox and @Baelnor!
My ship was a disaster but I managed to stow enough crates in the middle of the ship to pull ahead at the end.
You did amazing! I totally forgot how important freight cubes were
Yeah, good game! Was fun! Iād play again if I werenāt exploring/camping/hiking and frequently off the grid.
Gaia Project is up next, anyone for a game?
Count me in.
Iām happy to introduce folks to Roll Player anytime too!
Iāll second that. Fun game and great app (except for the lack of icon badgesā¦).
Well, I guess I need to (re)learn sometime. I played at the table years ago when it first released and I know Terra Mystica so hopefully it wonāt be too difficult for me.
I sent you a friend request in game
Accepted
I also could use some Gaia Project practice if anyone else wants a game. I bounced hard off GP so need to find a way in.
I could also do with a game of GP having not played since checks thread March
