Ok, this time I am the party pooper.
I tried very hard - thanks, but no thanks. Played the Tutorial and some couple of skirmish games but it did not click for me, at all. I do understand the basic ruleset puts it beside SR but that doesnât alone make me want to play a game. Similar reaction to newer Ascension Decks without the main artist from the first decks. Doesnât make sense but does prevent fun from settling in (the dreamscape mechanic does its fair share to alienate me as well)âŚ
I do the appreciate the detail and Production values put in CR tough. The creepy tutorial Narrator was nice 
Holsten told me that at a certain point only the voice acting drew him further into the game.
he appreciates the female voice too.
by now he likes the game.

to taste the spirit of CR competition âlightâ.
as always itâs quite another story to play vs human âintelligenceâ.
i remember some other games which did not click for me when playing tutorial, AI skirmish or campaign.
but when playing vs real opponents, motivation ignition went BOOM (Agricola, Neuroshima Hex, Samurai, Carcassonne, TtR, LoW, esp TS etc): âhow the heck could he do that? i want to do that too!â
i just pushed âshuffle the seedsâ and âstart tournamentâ buttons for the
1st StatelyPay Cthulhu Realms Horrorship!
it does not matter who sends the challenge, as start player is randomized.
so game on and have fun/horror!

Do we need two separate games (one for the King of the Hill and one for the tournament)? And if so, how will we tell them apart?

I got a turn 2 Catacomb (for 3 currency a turn) which went unanswered for too long. I scooped up the good green and yellow attack cards, and KYakerDude fell too far behind.
Good game, even if I still have to zoom to read every card, and then relate it to its Star Realms equivalentâŚ

I knew I was behind, but I didnât expect to lose just yet. That was an amazing final turn. The replay is a little fast and I donât know the cards well enough to know exactly what happened other than dropping 20 points.

I despise when games do not have an undo feature. Just mistouched vs. @JHTaube, ending turn prematurely. Not sure if itâs a game changer but donât any of these developers realize that a lazy finger is entitled to a bit more love??? Gack, yuck and ugh. And poo too.
How many damage points was it? When i just loaded the replay it showed you taking off one point, moving me from 40 to 39. I can maintain the deduction, in our heads, so to speak.
