Edit: seriously, Iā€˜m a bit fed up with Dire Wolfā€˜s fragile MP. I know it’s tricky, but eh. I look forward to being auto-resigned from my Eyrie game in due course.

Ok, so, our game invited me to play field hospital and now I’m in my action phase, but the battle animation is still playing.

Sadly, it looks like that game is bugged too.

It’s weird. None of the other Dire Wolf games have issues like this.

No, they were all ropey on launch. Sagradaā€˜s MP just didn’t work, RotNS was fragile and there were game-stopping bugs in Y&Y. Dire Wolf are developing a track record.

ETA: even when the games do work, the mp rough edges are still there. I donā€˜t think Dire Wolf expected people to play more than one game at a time, or look at a game outside their turn. Hopefully they can improve because the games are good once they get to reliable.

Really? I don’t remember any RotNS issues (sometimes the game wouldn’t load but it did fine on the second try, but I guess that is a problem). Now that you mention it, I do remember Sagrada but they fixed that pretty quickly.

I didn’t play Y&Y enough to see that but I’ll trust your experience.

Even now Sagrada is wonky sometimes, needing a force close to properly load the mp games.

I remember that I did have one game-breaking bug in Y&Y and it was also during a conflict, much like here with Root. Y&Y has been pretty smooth for me since launch, though.

Just had a follow-up email from DW asking about my error report, so they’re taking an interest at least :slight_smile:

Apparently today’s patch is supposed to take care of our issues.

With this update, we’re correcting a few errors and performance issues introduced in Monday’s patch.

  • Friends list should now properly update again.

  • Fixed a number of softlock issues where players could get stuck in battle.

  • Resolved game slowdowns that some players reported.

our Buddies game is stuck since the latest update. can’t even enter the game.
and look at the global chat :flushed:

My game is stuck. Snotty (Marquis) gets into brawl with Alliance. Screen goes dark and turn restarts.

Fight never ends, never gets to my turn even though it says it’s my turn.

I guess we wait…

I’ve been auto-resigned from my stuck game (Eyrie). :confused:

@SpiceTheCat GG! I did everything I could to muster the troops and wrest control of that fox space from you but rolling 0-0 on my second attack against those cats didn’t do us any favors.

With the new patch, I wouldn’t mind joining another game to see if it’s fixed or if we get stuck again!
