great! enough players for one division. so we are ready to go.
but i will wait on till Sunday evening CET to see if more players might be interested.
players will be allocated to two or three (or even more?) division tables then by RandomOrg.
and of course more players can join anytime for playing in next season.
and players can leave (and come back) or take a break when they want.
flexibility is one of the best features of a ladder/ league.

Hello and let’s get started.
i would have preferred 3P games because so much faster but with 7 players we will have a first division with 4 players and a second with 3 players.
in the opening season there will be no champion.
because all players should have the (nearly) same chance (ok, a bit easier in 2nd division. 1st or 2nd of 3 instead of 4) to be crowned as first Ark Nova champion. so this season is just about positioning for the first championship season.
who wants to be champion must be 1st or 2nd in first game and win the next.
no easy task. who will be the only one?
the last two of 1st division will go down and the first two of second will go up.

ok, alternate maps…but with or without draft? all players on the same map?
any player in 2nd division can create the 2nd game.
i guess we will need more tries to get the games started anyway.
i tried to invite friends but…they must be online. so crazy.

i always liked the “Line of Honor” of player icons in former challenges like Race for the Galaxy (winner in 2019: Galactic Overlord @SleepingGiant) and Cthulhu Realms (winner in 2017: Ultimate King in Yellow @HolstenKnight).

every future Ark Nova Champion will choose his favorite icon and put it down in the List of Honor.
the first player with 10 of his icons in the List of Honor will win the Grand Title and close down the challenge.

@JammaTal Alternate maps are maps modified from the original to be more balanced. They are the same as the alternate maps BGA uses for Ark Nova.
