What would that actually look like? And Dave feel free to edit the name.
GenCon started 50 years ago in a basement in Wisconsin.
So when are you going to invite us all over for a game, Dave?
It would look drunken.
Old and drunken.
I hadn't actually thought of it as a possibility, but I do have a basement and am in Wisconsin, which is all you need to eventually have a huge con....
Should we time it to overlap with this? Lumberjacking by day and board games by night? And should I try to get Monty Python to perform? http://www.lumberjackworldchampionships.com
Anyone live near Rochester, NY? I could host a game night.
Just say Canada, call it what it is
If I'm driving to Rochester, NY it would have to more of a "long game weekend" instead of a "game night".
I guess technically Rochester and Brooklyn are in the same state.....
Technically, but my friends from upstate NY always treat NYC as its own "state" ...
I'm in northern NJ and the only thing I consider NY is NYC... everything else is Canada. Or Connecticut, at the very least.
Except for Staten Island, as I consider that part of NJ.
Think you said that wrong - they consider themselves part of NJ, but we don't want them.
I'll book the $2000 flight today if we can get this to the table
I own it...
This is the kind of post the 'Awesome' button was invented for!
I think if I were ever to host a con, two things:1) The mementos of the event, provided to every participant, would be cloth napkins embroidered with the Stately Play logo.2) I'd probably want to attend a con first.
