Another new bug. Had the option to play the bird sideways, covering two slots, properly checked but the game decided against following its own rules. Bugs like this make the game unplayable, particularly in a tournament setting.
Re the bug I reported, it’s not a bug. The change is implemented but the card is not played sideways, rather takes up two slots and that might not be readily identifiable.

This is normal two-slot behavior for the Wingspan app. If you try to play a bird in the habitat, it should default to the next available slot automatically.

24 tucked is great. @baelnor Which birds did you have set up and where? Mostly in the water habitat, I’m guessing because your egg count was so low.
yeah, mostly in the water - had only three birds in grasslands.
I think almost all my birds had some level of tuckable as my end of game bonus was tucked cards

Since the text reads the same as the actual board game, I expected to see the card be placed sideways but the app just places a half sized dummy card to the right slot. I missed it entirely, expecting to see what the card said - the card placed sideways. Btw, my eyesight is not good, so there ya go. Anyway, no harm, no foul, just a bit of confusion.

I messed up a few turns (I probably always do!) but never would’ve caught Dave. ‘Grats on the win and gg all! Wingspan definitely one of my favorites and will always play if given the opportunity.
