Happy New Year, all! We are approaching the end of Season 3, which makes it 12 games in the ladder so far, going back to May 2023! I had always envisioned three seasons being a good point for re-ranking and updating the game list, so here are some polls…

@Blackfyre - feel free to vote anyway - this is more a tier list than a “which 12 games will we play next” exercise.
Is Brass functional? IStR it had an unreliable phase. Happy to play it if it’s solid. 
Edit: exactly the same comment for Small World.

Last time we played Brass in KotH it was functional except for notifications, so had to remember to log in just in case

What a game! My three bonus cards saved me, I think. (Birds that eat fish, birds that eat anything, and towards the end I drew the one that gives you points for cards in hand, which was an easy 8 points by then)

I thought it was much closer. From the get go, i couldn’t draw anything I needed but it became clear by the third set that @Mirefox and @JaneHatke were having the same problem, so I turned out to be the lucky one after all.

Dunno why it receives no love but the best of the card games by far is Cthulhu Realms. Just under everyone’s radar, I guess. It’s excellent.

I think it got overshadowed by Star Realm. I know it’s not overwhelming, but the small bit of iconography makes it slightly less accessible. Probably not for the people on this site, but just in general.
Definitely was overshadowed on theme alone. It’s a shame because Darwin Kastle designed a really, really good game.
