I for one love Concordia, but I dislike the way online games are handled via this app. So I am overall also happy I don’t have to deal with the app anymore.

It just takes way too long to log into the concerned game, often crashing in the middle of the login process or disconnecting. Further no proper notification system.

I know it could be worse, but there are sufficient examples who’ve handled online gaming much smoother and more reliable since over 10 years.

I agree. Concordia is actually a deep game when you “get” it, but the lack of reliable notifications and the login problems kill the experience.

We’re moving along on Table 5 but aren’t going to finish super soon. Two of us have 10 cities and there are 13 cards left in the deck, so we’ve got a few rounds before anyone triggers the end game.

Hi all! As noted, we are coming to the end of “season 2” of the ladder - I hope you’re all still having fun!

Before we start

  1. Please let anyone you think might be interested know about the ladder!

  2. Vote for next season’s games! (Year 1, Season 3 or Y1S3 for short!) This time I’m trying a pick 4 of 6 format, just to mix things up. Wingspan was our last Most Popular game, Dune is new, and the other four were chosen randomly.

The top 4 games will be the list for Season 3!

It’s always fun having “control” of the list but also sticking to the random results.

Next time I’ll put Viticulture in the list just to “poll-arize” the votes even more. :rofl:

Also don’t forget this is part of why I started the ladder - you can skip a game you don’t have or don’t want to play. :blush:

Hi folks! Well, we are almost through the dog days of summer (assuming you are in the Northern Hemisphere!) so I wanted to announce the Season 3 lineup and post a poll for participation in the first game of the season. We will get started in another week or so…
