I had a crazy lucky start to the first game with some serious green affinity which lead to a bit of a blowout (38 to -3) and then managed to hang on by an extremely narrow margin in the second game (4 to 0.)

Definitely going to put Star Realms in my regular rotation for a while now! (The power of the Decathlon! :slight_smile: )

That was a frustrating game, as we both had our perfect draws after the first reshuffle, but I had to watch the power cards disappear back to back… Good match though!

no doubt that you kept making the best possible moves.

i just lost a core set game vs Codington in the same way.
right from the start he could buy the best green cards.
did not take long and the green express train (oh these overpowered Blobs!) rolled over me.

Well played @Codington - great games and you are a fearsome opponent! I made a misplay in that last game that I’ve been kicking myself for when I forgot to put the Command Ship on top of my deck, but I don’t think it would have mattered given the large margin of victory…

I believe we are still waiting on the @JHTaube vs @feederofgoats match. If we haven’t heard back from @SleepingGiant by then, we will move on to the final event with 5 tables of 4.
