Comments I’ve seen in this BGG thread suggest the Fleet adaptation is hot garbage:

Yeah, I thought so. After seeing the pictures on the AppStore, and the text (which was a 1:1 copy/paste of the description of the physical game on BGG), I decided to give it a hard pass until I heard something positive about the game.
Autumn Steam Sale is on from today through 11/28.

Maybe old news? But Slitherine also look like they are MIA on the App store. Went hunting for some old school nostalgia to find only silence. My previous purchases are still in my library but no listing for any Slitherine games including Panzer Corps, Heroes of Normandie, Drive on Moscow et al. A quick inter-web search brings up a post early Oct referencing no interest by Slitherine any longer for their games on IOS.

Seeing as they never bothered to update their games, no surprise there.
Since I just saw Terraforming Mars appear in alpha on BGA, I’m now wondering if the digital version will be kaput in the near future.
Neuroshima Hex just updated a day or so ago with a new army - The Partisans.
I actually find this a little troubling because there are many features still missing from the old version including many armies that people (like myself) paid money for. On top of that, as far as know, and I try to keep my NSHex collection complete, the Partisans are not a tabletop army. Are they digital-only?

I’m dying for them to add back the third and fourth player that has said “coming soon” or whatever they’ve posted on it a few years ago, I know 2-player is ideal but I have two close friends that love 3-player NSHex.

I thought that last hidden achievement was impossible, but you just gotta pick the right day to attempt it. Fantastic game, and sounds like there’s another huge update landing sometime this month.

There is a new version of Ticket to Ride on the App Store. This one is by Marmelade (I think they make all the Monopoky/Clue/Life/etc apps) and is $5. There are many extra maps to buy and a $35 pass that I assume gives you all.

And either I’m obtuse or there’s no way to make a private async game?
Played with it more. Unless I’m dumber than previously thought, you can make a 24 or 48h or unlimited async game which is open to the public. No way to invite friends or make a password as far as I can tell.
OR
You can make a wholly synchronous game and invite your friends using their 32 character friend code? Ima hit the refund on this debacle.
Also, it has IAPs not only for additional maps but for special train toons and different character portraits. Unbelievable.
Ah, the old “take something that works and make it worse” strategy.
