In the pause, does anyone have any favourite expansions? @Blackfyre and I are playing a lot of VotA, and I keep playing Delirium + Dreamscape with a random, both of which are interesting tweaks to the game.

Yes, I’ve been enjoying our games too.
I like the Delirium, Deliverance, Dreamscape and Valley of ancients expansions very much. I prefer to play them separately and not to mix. Mostly because I haven’t reached the feeling that I’ve “seen it all” for any of them separately.

I like that DoC gives you a champion to help focus your play and give the game the slightest of asymmetry.

I’ve been playing one expansion for a few days then change to another. This is the first I’ve really started to get a feel for how each one is different. I’ve not developed a favorite just yet, but love that the mechanics are basically the same, but the gameplay changes.
I bought an all expansion pack a few years ago and it has everything except a few of the promo packs. I rarely play with the promo packs that I have so I’m not really sure I’m missing out on much.
Glad this league came along to inspire me to play Ascension some more!

I do too; this was my favorite set until I kept losing with it…
I often swap out the base set for DoC, then just pair it with another set.

I don’t care about the promos much either and can’t really even recall what is in them with one big exception - the portals. The last promo set (I think) has portal cards that can literally be any card in the entire game. That adds a little craziness.

You didn’t miss anything because @JaneHatke and I are not quite done, so neither of us posted results.
I won our first game 65-63 and just took my final turn in our second game–got the honor pool down to 0, so we’ll see the results after Jane takes her turn.
