winner takes the trophy and puts his icon down.
2nd player has earned the right to play again in the next titlematch
players 3 and 4 can go to the end of the challengers’ line again (or will be demoted to top challengers’ match, in case this option comes into play).
the top 2 players in the waiting line (or 1st and 2nd of the challengers’ game) will join the titleholder and the runner-up in the next 4P title match.
should we have more interested players than 4 more matches could be played by the challengers for winning the right to play in the next title match.
could look like this:

challenger 2
top challenge match
players 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 will play a match for the right to join the next titlematch.
1st and 2nd in this game will be next challengers 1 and 2.
and just in case we will be more than 8 players, a kind of league system with 4P challenge brackets will come into play with players ascending and being demoted between those mini leagues.
for the very first titlematch it’s simply first-come-first-served.

Also in, even if I still don’t get all of the Rise of Ix mechanics yet, and throw a (carefully off-screen) hissy fit when my laboriously-built win is taken away by some jerk with a lucky handful of intrigue cards. Well, someone has to fill out the challengers table
Yeah, I have a preference for Ix, I think it adds more interesting decision making and more paths to victory (especially beating people with a skillfully put together handful of intrigue cards).
only 50% (or less) of players being able to see the final round replay and the result screen is a setback for sure.
here is still hope that DW will get it fixed. it works in their other games.
they should have the knowhow
does anybody know if it works reliably with the PC version?
i’d be ready to buy again then. the big screen won’t hurt either.
Welcome to Chapter 1 - we have 10 people, which means 2 full tables and two on the waitlist for Chapter 2. If we have enough to kick off a 3rd table (an extra 1 at a minimum) we will get that rolling as well!

i’ve seen it happen in two different games now.
the “If an AI takes a turn for a player two times in a row”-appeasement is a hoax.
what happened here? good intention but didn’t find its way into the game?
or intended as sharp as is and just wrong wording?

very poor support and maintenance for Dune.
i never got an answer when i sent them feedback reports about vanished games and unseen final scorings.
and btw a “next game” button is urgently needed.
