Crowdfunding: Where Your Wallet Goes To Die

And they’ve arrived. No chipped dice but they sure smell like they were packed right next to a petrol pump.

So, was able to confirm shipping address for 7th Citadel to come to the US! Super excited!

Completely forgot about that game, it has been a while I think.

Will have to add another kickstarter to the queue now….

I have always loved the idea of his designs, but have never really got into it to the level I know I would enjoy.

Anyone else looked at this?

Yes, I have… and I guess I’m going to back it…
I own Codex, which is an amazing game, but unfortunately I do not get it to the table often. I own the Yomi app from the old days, and I a planing to redownload and play it, to check if Yomi is something I would enjoy, or not.

Alright - jumped on Yomi 2 - love Sirlin and his work.

I should have Elder Scrolls in the next few weeks (all in pledge).

Dragon Eclipse should come in a couple of months. (https://gamefound.com/en/projects/awaken-realms/dragon-eclipse?ref=my-projects)

Currently mulling over backing Star Trek Ascendence all in. Leaning no to maybe, I love the idea but not sure it will be all that…

I should give Yomi another chance. I’ve only played the app and I should love the game on paper, but it didn’t click with me. I think I felt like there were too many conditional actions/rules and what should have been a more straightforward game became too rules heavy. I like the idea of.l a shared universe, though. We play Puzzle Strike a lot.

Loved Yomi in cardboard and found it a lot of fun - I don’t remember the rules being that fiddly? Been a while since I’ve played though.

The app was well done iirc and the only thing that killed it was the sync play; admittedly an asynchronous game would be absurd. TBH I think it still lives on my iPad, wonder if it still plays?

It wasn’t that the rules were fiddly, it’s just that I never got the hang of all the conditionals. I love a good card game but 9 times out of 10 you play a card and apply its effect. I remember Yomi giving me options like if you block, then you can play a counter attack, and if it’s a high enough number, then you can play more cards to pump it, unless it’s a finisher or the other card’s speed or higher - completely made up rules and scenario, there, but I never got a firm understanding of it. The app updated recently to look and work better on newer devices so maybe I’ll give it another look.

I’ll have to give the app another look too - I’d be up for a game if we could coordinate timing. I’m EST.

Oh, I probably won’t get around to downloading/learning until my next trip in. A couple months, but if I need to revive the idea I’ll send you a message.
