Ok, we have 16. I have used Random.org to assign everyone a number between 1-100 and then sorted the list to get the table seatings. For the first round we have:

I’m so happy I stopped by TWO days ago to suggest a tourney, thinking it would take a couple weeks to raise interest and lo and behold, we’re starting two days later!
I guess this game is popular. Glad I finally learned it. Hope you folks enjoy the easy pickins’ (for now).

Aarrgghh. I just realized @robthomasson is away for the weekend and will likely be bummed out to see us already out of the starting gate.

Since @robthomasson is apparently the defending champion, maybe we should wait to hear from him. I’m willing to give up my spot to keep the numbers even.
And now I realize @robthomasson was the winner of the previous tournament. He should be playing.
Maybe we did this too quickly and now I feel badly about this, since I asked for a new tournament. Chris has already volunteered to give up his seat and I’ll do the same. I can wait.
In any event, it should not begin before @robthomasson has a chance to participate.
@robthomasson will probably be back home by this evening. Can we wait, please?
At worst, to let everyone in, there could ways be 2 four player tables and 3 three players tables to accommodate 17.
