I almost wonder if the costs and impacts of these decisions is the rights way for reducing the population in the interest of improving climate change.

Suspect it will take longer to rebuild these institutions in the future than it took to dismantle…

I’m reasonably certain the right doesn’t care about addressing climate change, since they tend to deny it’s even real.

As for your second point, pretty sure the dipshits in charge are counting on that being precisely the case.

I can’t decide what bothers me most about the current administration–their malice, their stupidity, or, as this story demonstrates, their complete and utter fucking incompetence. Pretty sure it’s a 3-way tie.
